Are you ready for adventure? We will visit two places full of culture and magic, starting with Uxmal, one of the most important Mayan cities in the region and an unprecedented beauty. We will share with you some cool history of the mayans as we get to the city and then you will discover it at your own rythm. Take photographs with the morning light and enjoy its amazing architecture while we will wait for you in the entrance with out rush (leaving early its a must avoiding the heat and the crowds) If you are already in Yucatan, you have to know Uxmal! Then we will move to the Chocostory Museum (in front), where we will know the importance of cocoa for the Mayans, showing the process of elaboration and importance from ancient times to the present. We will walk in a botanical garden full of tropical vegetation, & rescued animals, we will enjoy a drink of pure cocoa, in addition to witnessing an traditional Mayan ceremony performed by an X'men (Shaman). IMPORTANT: we do not guide inside Uxmal, as we dont have the permits to do so. Perfect for solo travelers, couples and friends who want to visit this places without the troubles of transportation. Just the best off the beaten path We'll pick you up early in the morning to beat the crowds in Chichen Itza, since is the most visited in the area, at that time we will have the opportunity to enjoy the site with less people, have better pictures and take advantage of the fresh morning. Inside the archaeological site i wil explain you the importance of the city and the mayan civilization. Afrerwards we'll continue and visit a cenote off the beaten path,(sinkholes unique in the Yucatan Peninsula), which is own by a mayan family. There is plenty of time to enjoy the crystal clear freshwater of the cenote. The family will cook authentic local food, some ingredients are from their vegetable garden. After lunch we will hit the road again towards the yellow city of Izamal, . We will climb the mayan temple of Kinich Kakmo (34 m height/ 100 feet height), walk among the magic streets of the city and visit the convent in honor of Saint Antonio de Padua builded back in the XVI century. El segundo cenote es un círculo abierto de forma perfecta con una increíble agua esmeralda rodeado por árboles. Disfruta de las impresionantes vistas de estas formaciones rocosas con millones de años mientras nadas, exploras, flotas, ¡saltas desde casi 10 mts! This experience departs from Merida, city. We'll be back in the city of Merida between 6 to 7:00 pm. From the Flamingos area to Merida is around 2.5 to 3 hours drive. Avoid crowds, no tourist traps, no buffet meals I will pick you up at the meeting point, the goal is to arrive in Chichen Itza early, since is the most visited in the area, we will have the opportunity to enjoy the site with less people, have better pictures and take advantage of the fresh morning. Inside the archaeological site i wil explain you the importance of the city and the mayan civilization. Afterwards we will continue to Temozon town where we will eat lunch, they have a great variety of local food as well as vegetarian options. We will hit the road again towards Rio Lagartos to visit the salt mines in Las coloradas, where you will be able to take amazing pictures of the pink pools and the pink flamingos that inhabit the biosphere reserve of Rio Lagartos. On our way back to Merida we will make a final stop in a Cenote where you will have the chance to swim in their crystal clear water. Finally we will head back to Merida. We will start the experience on a walking tour to the point where we will start a descent down a stairway to a dry cenote, there we will see some varieties of local plants, we will know their use and importance, we will enter the vault of the cenote where we can see some Local bee varieties in their wild state, it should be mentioned that bees do not sting because they do not have stings. Later we will walk through a path in the jungle where we will identify the main plants for the production of honey. We will arrive to our meliponario where we will talk about the process of honey coke, we will know about the other products of the comena as well as their health properties and we will even be able to open a beehive to observe the amazing architecture of the bees. We will make a tasting of honey and other products of the hive. And finally we will visit our small store of honey and souvenirs. Of course we will not forget the souvenir photo at the end of the experience. It is necessary to wear comfortable shoes for walking and closed shoes. Use organic mosquito repellent. Salimos a las 6 am en el punto de encuentro que es muy céntrico y fácil de ubicar. Llegamos a Chichen itza antes que abran, somos los primeros en entrar lo cual te garantiza: menos gente, menos sol y fotografías únicas. Ahí veremos a nuestro guía certificado que habla español, ingles, francés o italiano y les dará su visita guiada por los puntos importantes. Segundo punto, Cenote Hacienda, los ubicamos donde cambiarse y donde entrar al cenote, tiempo libre para bañarse, relajarse y disfrutar de las instalaciones. Tercer punto: Valladolid. Explicación de fachadas de casonas coloniales, tales como: Quinta Montes Molina, El Minaret, La casa blanca, monumentos como el obelisco, monumento a francisco de Montejo y barrio tradicional de Santa Ana. 05:20 pm | Inicia nuestro recorrido por 3 Cantinas tradicionales de Mérida. Conocerás primero la hacienda donde se bañaban los emperadores de México y lo que ahí sucedía en el siglo XVIII, nadaras en 2 cenotes MAGICOS, son pozas de aguas transparentes y refrescantes ( SIN MUCHA GENTE el acceso es por grupo) Después una hacienda completamente abandonada de tipo francés la cual tiene entre sus paredes arboles que ya crecieron ahí, es una hacienda mística donde podrás tomar fotos muy buenas. Enseguida una hacienda que ahora es un hotel de gran turismo espectacularmente bella, rodeada de grandes arboles y jardines . conocerás los 3 tipos de haciendas de Yucatán, un día lleno de emociones. 1 pm Finalmente retornaremos a la ciudad de Mérida donde comeremos en un restaurante maya tradicional. Mientras cae la noche saldremos de la ciudad de Mérida hacia un pequeño poblado a 50 km. en el anillo de cenotes, llegaremos a un lugar especial y mágico donde descenderemos y disfrutaremos de las ancestrales aguas subterráneas de Yucatán, en esta maravilla natural podrás nadar, snorlkear o sencillamente recostarte y disfrutar de un buen descanso en contacto con la madre tierra, desconectado del mundo y sus prisas. Aquí pasaremos una hora en el vientre de la madre tierra para encontrarnos a nosotros mismos, tal vez de frente a nuestros miedos para vencerlos, para tomar conciencia de las maravillas que nos rodean y de las que somos parte. Puedes tomarte selfies y fotos el lugar es un paraiso subterraneo, con iluminación adecuada así con toda tranquilidad disfrutaremos a pesar de ser de noche. You will make the most out off your morning and contribute with local education iniciatives and still have time for relaxing later.
