The flat is on the third and last floor of a building located in Corte dei Mercanti, a small and cozy square situated about 10 minutes far from the Rialto Bridge and - going to the opposite direction - only 15 minutes far from Venice S.Lucia railway station. The apartment, recently restored, incorporates the concept of a typical Venetian house which reflects both in the furniture and in its architectural structure. While renovating, attention was paid to recreate and maintain the spirit and atmosphere of the Venetian merchants who livened up this area for decades. Furthermore, furnishings are a work of art as it comes from handy work of local artisans and Murano glass factories. The flat offers a 360° view as it boasts windows on each side and it develops on two levels: the main floor where the living/kitchen areas, the bathroom as well as the bedroom are situated, and the upper floor which hosts a relaxing area and a rooftop terrace. The entrance door gives access to the roomy and luminous living area is decorated with three-colour wallpaper and infused by natural light thanks to four windows. The space also includes a comfy sofa, a television and a tea table. Straight ahead, the wide and functional kitchen completes the area. It has classic style custom-made furniture which includes a slate top and details made of pewter. All appliances and a classy wooden table - which seats four - finish the furnishings. The bathroom with shower and a comfortable bedroom complete the main floor. Here, a double bed, a bridge wardrobe and a couple of reading lights furnish the space which is decorated with floral wallpaper and other decorative elements that recall the thousand-year old relationship existing between Venice and the Far East. The ceiling highlights once again the original structure of the building and a lovely skylight ideally extends the room towards the sky. A stairway made of Venetian grey granite leads to the upper floor where, nestled it the eaves of the roof, an air-conditioned reading area finds place. It represents the ideal place where to relax lay on the sofas. The loft also offers a terrace which overlooks the surrounding roofs and bell towers, among which the S.Maria dei Frari and S.Mark's ones. This sunny area is equipped with fine teak chairs and table for four to enjoy unique breakfasts, sunsets, sunrises or a romantic dining under the stars. Una casetta appena fuori dal centro di Mirano, costruita negli anni '60, riapre le sue porte ai viaggiatori che cercano la tranquillità di un alloggio comodo al centro, facilmente raggiungibile dall'autostrada, ben collegato alla meravigliosa città di Venezia e che, con il suo piccolo giardino saprà regalare ore di piacevole relax...da quest’anno siamo Green!
