A truly beautiful cathedral both inside and outside. As you approach it, if it is sunny the stonework glows a lovely golden colour.
There is so much to see inside; several side chapels, the high altar, the stained glass windows (especially the stunning Marc Chagall window), the 'Chichester Reliefs' - possibly Anglo-Saxon carvings of the raising of Lazarus, the Treasury, a Roman mosaic visible through a glass panel in the floor.
Super-friendly guides and volunteers who are happy to chat and explain.
A place to see wonderful things but also a place to be quiet, to pray, to contemplate. Well worth a visit.

Picturesque village, worth a visit for a few hours, but be aware of the tide, the road can become the sea bed pretty fast. This little village has a very old church, a beautiful mill stream, a couple of tea rooms, and gift shops. Nice walks around the harbour, finishing off with a pint in the Anchor Bleu or Berkeley Arms.
