The West Wing

Quiet rural setting overlooking the Mahurangi River ,Te Kapa inlet and farmland .Lots of native bush and wild bird life .Perfect retreat to relax and read Matakana area has wineries ,restaurants ,art galleries ,beaches ,regional parks and a farmers market . As it is West facing we are often treated to spectacular sunsets. The apartment is spacious with a sitting room and is separated from the main house by a double garage . We are down a 2 km gravel road but the views are worth the drive.di

NZ Summer House

Don't be fooled by the name, the NZ Summer house is idyllic all year round. Set on an equestrian lifestyle property down a quiet country lane. Retreat on Whitehills is a beautiful cottage we have purpose built especially for that perfect romantic getaway. We have an outdoor bed for wine and nibbles for watching the stunning countryside sunsets, a cozy fire pit, luxury spa and infra red sauna . Luxury, cozy and comfortable. Only 30 mins from the CBD in the country but only 10-15 min from the beautiful beaches of the HBC. Whether it is for your honeymoon, anniversary or Best friend getaway it is the perfect break away.

Unique studio unit. Separate to main dwelling with own access and self contained. A lovely light and airy space originally designed as an artists studio. Space includes queen bed, two comfortable chairs, small fridge with tea and coffee bench, and shower and toilet. Access to laundry facilities in main house if required. 1 minute walk to beach, 1 min. drive or 10 minute walk to large selection of restaurants in Orewa. Five minutes from motorway, 30 minutes from Harbour bridge.

Our space is great for travelers who enjoy wineries, breweries, cafes, beaches, walks, cinema (boutique), Saturday markets, Goat Island and a variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have a great new grocery shop and a local pub within walking distance.

Centrally located at the heart of the famous Orewa beach in the Hibiscus Coast of North Auckland region, 200m distance from the surf beach and 350m from the entrance of the 8km estuary walk/cycle way. The shops, supermarkets , cafes, restaurants/bars, take aways and fast foods are 1km walk. We only offer a quiet , comfortable room to stay in - Parties, visitors and binge drinking are not allowed.
