This is a fully self contained studio suite, with separate access on the edge of our family home. You have full access to the entire property which includes a hot tub spa pool, fire pit and trampoline. Kayaks and stand up paddleboards are available if you would like a touch of adventure. These facilities are all shared.

The Penthouse Studio at Lake Tarawera

This spacious studio apartment is set in native bush at Lake Tarawera, at the back of a lake-front property. However, it does have great views of the lake. It has one main room which includes a kitchen area, a dining room table, a lounge and beds and there's a separate bathroom. It is accessed up a flight of stairs with a laundry for use downstairs. Wifi is available. There is an outdoor patio, with comfortable furniture, sun umbrella and magnificent views across the lake to the mountain.

We would love to welcome you to our exceptional John Scott home/apartment (with radiators!). John Scott is one of NZ’s premier architects and is renowned for designing unique buildings. Our home doesn’t disappoint and we are excited to share it with the Air BnB community. A self contained wing of our home sits in a tranquil spot. A five minute drive or a stroll along the lakefront will get you into town. We’re a few minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens and the lakefront :-)

Located just a 5-minute walk to the lake in the heart of Kinloch Village. An inviting fireplace offers cozy warmth on chilly evenings. A King-sized bed with crisp linens and plush pillows awaits. Two Sliding doors open to a private deck (can be enclosed) with a kitchen (hotplate, pot, frypan, coffee machine, tea, and milk in a small fridge), fireplace, private bathroom, and a stunning view from the outdoor bath and shower (hot water). Grandviews Apartment, Rotorua

Your hosts are Barbara and Phillip, semi-retired and we are happy to share the downstairs unit. It is independent of us with a parking space and a side entrance. As the unit is downstairs you can hear us walking around if we are home. Earplugs may be required for complete quiet. We are located in a lovely, well-appointed suburb of Rotorua only a 10-minute drive to the centre of town. Rotorua has a lot to offer whether you are on a budget or not.
