Tainui Retreat - beautifully appointed 5 bedroom

Tainui Retreat A beautiful, newly renovated two storey house in the heart of Havelock North. Just 15-20 minutes walk to the village. Warm and sunny, with a balcony off the living area and a secluded deck at the other end of the house with an outdoor table and couches. A garage is available for storage of bikes & golf clubs. The house is set up for adults. Our policy is for no children under 10. Out of consideration for our neighbours we have a quiet policy from 9 pm and strictly no parties.

Orchard cottage.

This unique place has a style all of its own. On a working orchard so you may experience ute’s, tractors spraying from time to time. Our cottage is not suitable for children. Our cottage is a 3 minute drive to the stunning Havelock North village. Beautiful views through the rows of apple trees up to Te Mata peak. So much to see only minutes from the cottage. Craggy Range winery, Arataki Honey, Birdwood Gallery, Te Mata Peak, many wineries, cycling tracks and so much more to experience.

Private garden setting, breakfast, hot tub, cafés.

Safe, quiet and private space, separate from the host. No shared spaces. Hot tub is by your entrance. A range of breakfast supplies in your space for enjoying at your convenience. From the comfortable queen bed, enjoy the garden outlook. Guests comment on their comfortable sleep. A queen bed enuite studio is also available (see my other listing) 39 cafes, bars, unique boutique shops and a NW supermarket close by. Onsite parking is available for one vehicle. Please check prior to arrival.

We are a retired farming couple with one cute cat. Our purpose built first floor 100 sqm apartment is sunny, overlooks Te Mata Peak and its balcony provides stunning views over Orchards. Great care was taken in ensuring your every comfort. A private entrance situated next to our home with alarm gives complete privacy. In the summer you are welcome to use our pool, stroll to Havelock village plus 3 acres of grounds and Bike trails at the gate. Perfect for business or short-term breaks.

Havelock North Cottage on Organic Orchard.

Located at the base of Te Mata Peak, my Renovated, Roomy, Rural 1900's cottage is conveniently located within easy reach of wineries, beaches, walks/cycle tracks and 3kms from Havelock North CBD. The house surrounds are mostly peaceful and quiet. With an active array of wildlife frolicking in the orchard. Your stay is made more enjoyable with an espresso machine, a smart TV, pantry goodies, a wood fire, and yes, work spaces. Children are welcome, fur babies are welcome! (limit 2 dogs).

Modern architecturally renovated studio Tuki Tuki

A beautiful little studio in the magical Tuki Tuki valley. Incredibly peaceful and in a very scenic location looking over a small vineyard to the river. Handy to Napier, Hastings and Havelock North. A perfect location from which to enjoy Hawke’s Bay events. The studio has a small kitchenette but no cooking facilities. Bbq available. Perfect for short stays. A short drive to the cycle ways, wineries, trout fishing and beaches. Breakfast for $25 per person may be available on request.

The Pavilion

So close to the village, yet set in the countryside there are lambs in Spring and apple trees next door. Eggs are laid by our own chooks, bread, muesli and preserves are homemade. We'll suggest places to visit and restaurants if you want to dine out. Cool off in the pool in summer or take an expertly led yoga class! Take a trip to Hastings or Napier or walk the miles of tracks in Te Mata Park. Ocean Beach is just 15 minutes away and the Sunday Farmers Market just 10!

Quail Cottage - Napier/Hastings

Quail Cottage. Modern warm peaceful cottage in established gardens and vines. Nestled between apple orchards and banks of the Ngaruroro River Positioned between Napier and Hastings in Hawke’s Bay, it offers the perfect retreat. Ideally located, it’s just 10–15 minutes to Napier, Hastings, and Havelock North, with HB Sports Park and EIT Pettigrew Arena in Taradale only minutes away. A perfect base for exploring the region! Good space for RV parking

Modern self contained apartment

Modern 2 bedroom apartment conveniently situated just 10 minutes walk from the centre of the beautiful Havelock North Village. Although young children are welcome, please be aware that my property is not really suitable for young active children and is not fenced from the neighbours or the busy road. Message me if you need a one night stay as this may be possible in the winter months. Discounted rates are available for stays longer than one week.

With Te Mata Peak on the doorstep and local wineries a must visit, the Little Shoehorn is a perfect place to base yourself whilst exploring the beautiful region.
