Fontane Bianche: soggiorni in ville vacanze

Villa Lenzo is gelegen in een prachtige omgeving. Veel privacy op de locatie. Het dorpje Ferla is met de auto in 5 minuten te bereiken. Daar zijn een paar restaurantjes te vinden en ook een Coop supermarkt. Het is een must om het diner bij Quattro Canti te nuttigen. Traditionele gerechten en de pizza Etna is een aanrader! Verder zijn er een bakker en slager te vinden. In de directe omgeving vind je Pantalica. Een prachtig gebied om tussen de rotsen en langs de rivier een wandeling te maken. Maar je hoeft er niet per se op uit. Heerlijk van de zon genieten bij de villa met af en toe een heerlijke plons in het schitterende zwembad. Er is ook een grote gas BBQ aanwezig om lekker bij de villa een hapje te eten. Voor de sportivelingen is er een tafeltennistafel. Wij vonden het een top locatie en de host Paola heeft ons van allerlei info voorzien om ons verblijf nog aangenamer te maken. Dankjewel Paola!! Kortom, een super locatie om helemaal bij te komen. We spent 6 nights at Villa del Quarzo. Our main purpose in Southeast Sicily was to visit the various Baroque architecture towns - Noto, Ragusa, etc. The home is about 20 minutes outside of Siracusa. There isn't a lot in the immediate area. There is a small bakery/grocery a few minutes walk from the house that was open in the morning. It appears that it is open in the evening as well during the summer. The house itself is quiet and peaceful. It is very simple, but had everything we could need, including kitchen essentials. Francesco and his wife were good hosts, always responsive to us. I also feel like it was very good value for money. Highly recommend.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem schönen Ferienhaus auf Sizilien! Die Außenanlage ist wirklich ein kleines Paradies – eine grüne Oase mit viel Platz zum Entspannen, Spielen und natürlich dem tollen Pool, den wir alle sehr genossen haben. Unsere Kinder waren begeistert, und auch wir Erwachsenen konnten herrlich abschalten. Das Haus selbst ist gut geeignet für eine Familie mit zwei Kindern – alles war sauber und funktional. Die Küche ist funktional ausgestattet, aber da wir meist auswärts essen waren (was auf Sizilien sowieso ein Genuss ist!), hat uns das nicht gestört. Insgesamt haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für diese schöne Auszeit!

Very pleasant and quiet house in a clutch of streets near the sea about 15 minutes drive from Syracuse. The gardens are very pretty and immaculately maintained and the kitchen had an excellent supply of cooking equipment. The property is spacious and airy with good bedding and air-conditioning. Shower was very clean with strong pressure of hot water. As other reviews have noted there is no Wi-Fi but the 4G reception is excellent and I was able to use that for video calls et cetera so not a major problem. The host was very prompt and efficient in communicating and was super friendly when we met them at the house.

Ce fut un accueil exceptionnel dans une villa exceptionnelle. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les prestations haut de gamme de la maison ainsi que le soin porté aux extérieurs. Mais ce qui fut le plus remarquable est l'accueil que nous avons reçu. Nous avons été touchés par l'hospitalité de nos hôtes. L'entretien quotidien de la piscine et de ses abords à 6h30 par le propriétaire, avec une grande discrétion est tout à fait remarquable. Les conseils de Maria Laura et Tizianna et leur gentillesse sont également un point fort de ce séjour d'exception. Nous rêvons déjà de revenir !

It’s a beautiful, modern villa with an infinity pool and gorgeous terrace, 10 minutes by car from Siracusa. You most definitely need your own transport but if you do, it’s easy to find restaurants etc that are a short car drive away. Would recommend Cava Grande, which is about 45 minutes away (Carrubella hike) and the beautiful nature reserve on the Southern coast. Definitely worth the trip to Mount Etna as well (a couple of hours in the car)

Having used Airbnb for many years now, this was by far one of the best experiences we ever had. The location was perfect, within an easy drive to many of the area areas most beautiful venues. The house was clean, comfortable, and fit our family of three perfectly. Our 2 year old daughter loved wandering around the huge garden, the scenery was gorgeous and balcony so comfortable to chill in the sunny days. But above all, what made this day unforgettable was the hospitality of Giulia, Tiziana and Francesco. We do not remember when we ever felt so welcomed and loved, their hospitality was incredibly generous, taking care of every detail, including preparing meals for us and inviting us to a wonderful Easter lunch. We will forever cherish this memory and could not recommend this place enough to other guests.

We had a great time, the kids loved the swimming pool and the fussbal table. The garden is beautiful and peaceful. The host is very friendly and responds quickly. Short drive to the beach, to the centre of Noto and various other sights.

Noto to be missed. The house was recently built & has been constructed & furnished to a 5 star hotel standard. The setting is also perfect, very peaceful with a beautiful view over olive groves & out to the ocean yet only 10mins drive to Noto As you might expect with a brand new property there were some teething problems but these were quickly rectified by the team. Roberto the owner was a pleasure to deal with and owning several properties in the area has assembled a great team to look after them. Lucky the property manager and Sonia who both cleaned and did some cooking for us were both lovely and very helpful as was Daniel who drove us out to restaurants. Highly recommend having Sonia cook for you. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here but would note if planning to work from here the WiFi is through a wireless router and as such speeds vary significantly during the day. Also the pool is unheated so by mid-Sept was too cold for our baby but refreshing for the grown ups.

What a wonderful property, it was paradise. We loved picking fresh fruit and vegetables from the gardens, we enjoyed the chickens, geese and donkey. The property is set in beautiful gardens, with a sparkling clean swimming pool. The beach is a short walk away, where you will find a variety of places to eat and drink. Five minutes away is a well stocked shop. Gio was a fantastic host, who was available 24/7 for any problems, his local knowledge was very useful and he proudly showed us around his wonderfully kept gardens. We particularly enjoyed picking bananas every morning. Thank you so much Gio, we hope to return to paradise near the sea.

From the moment we booked we felt at home. Luca’s communication was excellent, clear, prompt and warm and friendly. I loved the personal welcome call, it was a wonderful touch. The house is so beautiful. Clean, elegant, yet homely. We could have stayed so much longer. Grazie Luca and Casa Balat Team!

Our stay at Katia's home was one of the most beautiful and memorable experiences for our family. Katia was extremely helpful and provided us with recommendations for everything you can think of. The local team were so kind and helpful - their welcome was warm and inviting and they were quick to respond to us, making our stay easy and relaxing. The house is so thoughtfully decorated and appointed with every amenity one could need. The close proximity to Noto and nearby beaches was excellent. We thank Katia and everyone for a wonderful stay in Sicily! It was a magical stay for our family and one which will definitely bring us back.

Very nice, calm place. Noto is near (by car) with great restaurants. Communication with Simone and the team on-site (thank you, Corrado) was top.

wow wow wow. es war einfach schön. wie auf den fotos oder sogar besser. man hat platz,der pool ist gross .....es ist wie im beschreib. pietro wie auch riccardo sind hilfsbereit und nett. riccardo ist immer zu stelle wenn was ist. wir waren uns mal unsicher,da es in der nähe gebrannt hat und er kam sofort nachschauen. wir kommen gerne wieder und können es allen empfehlen.

This is a great villa with sensational views. Well equipped and clean. The road to the villa is narrow so best for those with a modest sized vehicle but the views at the end are worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and interacting with our host.

We loved our stay at Charlotte’s place. The pool area and gardens are lovely - your own private oasis. It was a 1 minute walk to a good sized supermarket and a bus stop with easy access to Syracuse / Ortigia. Highly recommend as a base to explore Sicily - a car is useful but you could also use public transit. Finally Charlotte was a lovely host - checked us in promptly and left us to enjoy our stay, but was right there if we needed anything. We thought the place was excellent value for money and would love to return sometime!

My family and I (9 persons) had a great time in Modica. The place is amazing, with the separate kitchen and the 3 houses. Also the garden and the swimming pool are great. Sofia was very kind and helpfull during our stay. We would recommend this place!!

We spent 10 super days at Alessandra's house. You will need a car for sure to stay here, but it's super peaceful and nice and private. A little local farm is next to the house, but it's ok. Everything is close with car, but unreachable by foot. Lots and lots of locations are close with car, easy to get in to Siracusa or drive to other towns. A nice grill terace and a nice pool is in the garden waiting only for you. Alessandra and her husband are super nice and helpful hosts, with super ideas and local contacts, like Francesco, who guided us to Etna for a really good day. If you like busy town and crowd than it's not the right place for you. But if you want to find calm and personal quite place to stay, than this is your place :) Thanks a lot again Alessandra.

We had a wonderful time at Martina's place. We were a group of 19 people exploring the plants of Sicily, and the accommodation was perfect, on wonderful grounds with a swimming pool and tremendous views towards Siracusa and the sea. Everything was perfect. Thanks Martina! I hope we'll be back next year.

We had a fabulous week in this beautiful villa. The location is superb set within farm land with olive and lemon trees, occasionally visited by friendly sheep. Only 5 minute drive from Noto and 10 minutes to excellent supermarket, (Il Giardino) which was well stocked with all delicious Sicilian things we hoped for. A four-wheel-drive is recommended. We felt totally relaxed with great outdoor space and a fantastic infinity pool which was perfect temperature, and even a rooftop sitting area. Beds very comfortable and Villa well equipped. We explored the area but found Noto, on our doorstep, to be the best, very beautiful, especially in the evening, full of restaurants and fun vibe. We had good recommendations from our hosts. Marion and her husband were amazing especially when we had a puncture (we didn’t have a four-wheel-drive !!), they could not have been kinder and more helpful. Huge thanks! Would love to visit again.
