Appalachian Mountains: soggiorni in tipi

Have stayed at Justin’s properties on several occasions and always have an awesome experience. The property is always clean, well-maintained and exactly as advertised.

Staying in this tipi is a fun experience. This was my 3rd time and we will be back. The kids loved it too! The tipi contains everything you need for an easy camping experience.

Coupure de la ville qui permet de se retrouver, se ressourcer, et être dans l'instant au son l'eau qui passe tout près. le foyer extérieur permet de bons moments auprès du feu pour observer les étoiles .

Dépaysant, calme et en pleine nature ! Cadre magnifique pour les amoureux de la forêt ! La rivière est accessible et les lieux bien pensé. Merci à Lucie pour son accueil ! On recommande

This was my second trip to Andrew's tipi in Woodstock. The location right on the creek is amazing! Nothing beats falling asleep to the sound of the water from the creek and waking up to bright blue skies peaking in the top of the tipi from the smoke opening. We brought inflatable tubes and just floated along the creek in the afternoon. We discovered the trails across the creek which were just lovely to walk through and we got to enjoy a quicker walk into town the next morning for breakfast. I've also learned to pack lots of snacks and food because when you get there, you're not going to want to leave :)

Anita + Mark are very helpful. My husband and I checked in late and Mark greeted us in person, and showed us how to close up the top of the tipi in case it rained. We then made a little fire inside and had s'mores, then star-gazed! Anita and Mark were very sweet in making us a full pot of coffee and letting us use her beautiful handmade pottery. If you have time, you should check out Anita's pottery and Mark's creative work as well!! They recommended a great breakfast place/general store in the town over. Be mindful of layering up if you get cold easily! We slept very cozily though because they offer so many thick blankets in the tent! The mornings are full of bird song, which I loved. It was truly a getaway.

We had a beautiful time in our tiny home! The property was SO beautiful, such a cool concept. Kathryn was very accommodating and responsive. We will definitely be back to see the area in the summer!!

Denise was wonderful! She was responsive and flexible with check in and out. Her camp was perfect for a night of “unplugging”, quiet, with plenty of supplies. We did have to share an outhouse with the “neighboring tent”, but it was not an issue. We are already thinking of coming back.

Nous avons eu un merveilleux séjour dans le Tipi du soleil. L'hôte a pris le temps de nous faire visiter les lieux et de répondre à nos questions. Tout était à notre disposition pour le Bbq, faire un feu, etc. Un endroit paisible en nature et accueillant. Une belle decouverte. Merci :)

only thing ill say, text and ask for directions before arriving it was a little difficult for me to find. otherwise, an absolutely wonderful and peaceful place. i like the fact i didnt have to deal with a tent and free access to kayaks & the river.

It’s a very nice experience to stay with Robert. The courtyard and room is crafted with heart and the view is really nice. We feel pity not to stay longer because we are taking ferry the next morning. The only thing to keep in mind that is there is a unpaved road to the place; it’s not an interesting road to drive on for SUVs, but not the best if you are driving some thing like a BRZ coupe.

The place was so tranquil! The porch was great for relaxing and listing to nature. Inside the A-Frame was incredibly clean!

Beautiful surroundings and even got to pick our own wildflowers on property and we’re provided a nice jar for them to take. It’s super quiet and the fire pit was great. The teepee was a neat experience and very clean. This would make a great experience for a family to get out of the city limits and into the peaceful nature setting. We will def be returning 🫶 Danny was very helpful and responsive.

We have a great time in teepee! All 8 of us stayed in one teepee and had a great night with the bonfire and the breakfast that was delivered in the morning

We Absolutely had the best time! Staying in a Tipi was such a fun unique experience and I highly recommend it. My teenagers were unsure at the beginning but they enjoyed it as much as we did. The interior was beautiful, the bed was so comfortable I wanted to stay in it all day, there was plenty of heat although we never needed it as well as space, we were 4 adults staying there. The firepit was nice but we never got a chance to use it, the goats that came to visit daily were so cute. The bath barn was totally functional and I never had to wait for a shower! I am glad I read a previous review and got a golf cart as I think the walk back and forth to my car might have been a bit much but otherwise everything was perfect! I really hope that Smokey Hollow Outdoor Resort has much success as it is a great experience for all ages, close to everything and we really enjoyed the local recommendations as well. Our hosts were super friendly and the communication was on point! Thank you so much for a great weekend outing!

What an amazing and unique experience!! We stayed in the Tipi for three nights and it was unlike any other place we have stayed. It was beautifully decorated and it felt like we were living back in time. Mark was extremely accommodating and helpful - He was very responsive and communication was great. Lots of cute places nearby within 20 to 30 minutes so would definitely recommend!

I had such a fabulous time here! Kevin was quick to respond, and offer guidance with getting onto the mountain safely. He gave us a tour of the campground, which was fully stocked and cleaned. It had everything you could think of that you would possibly need while camping. The view is absolutely stunning, and it is such a peaceful place to decompress! We loved the swing, cornhole, fire pit, hot shower, wild turkeys and chipmunks, and so much more. After an amazing, relaxing night in the beautiful teepee, Kevin greeted us in the morning with FRESH baked blueberry muffins! They were to die for. Kevin seriously went over the top to provide us a wonderful experience on the mountain and we will definitely be returning in the future!! Well worth the price, and I highly recommend :) Thanks Again Kevin!, Cristina and Jacobi

The Teepee Village was a lovely, tranquil stay, in close proximity to the Hiwassee River and Blue Ridge Mountains. Keep in mind that this is still camping, not a hotel. But in that framing, you will be more than impressed with the stay! The property features a nice jacuzzi, fire pit, private bathrooms (and hot shower), a private fishing pond and an awesome laser show projector over the property at night- super cool to watch from the jacuzzi! Dirk is a wonderful host. He was proactive with instructions and even gave us a call the day before to see if we needed anything. He was very helpful throughout the stay and made a point to check in with us to make sure everything was going great. Highly recommended for an alternative to the usual camping experience!

Julia was a great host! This was a nice private camping site and we were able to walk around the woods and interact with Julia’s animals. Rustic style camping is not for everyone but we enjoyed our stay in the tipi
