Appalachian Mountains: soggiorni in B&B

We had a girls weekend, Sasha was so awesome, showed us around. Everything was so clean and breakfast that was included was absolutely amazing! 100%recommend her.

The hosts were friendly and the cozy apartment was ideally located for our stay. It was private and quiet, and we appreciated the in- unit washer/dryer, refrigerator and microwave.

A wonderful B&B — and the breakfasts are above and beyond. Just tremendously delicious.

Shelley and her husband are enthusiastic, kind hosts who love the lakeside town they are in. They have created a comfortable place to enjoy all that this lakeside area has to offer. Delicious breakfast and easy access to coffee and tea and plenty of places to sit inside and outside!

Claudia was an awesome host and very responsive. We had a good night stay in a nice private bedroom with private bathroom. We really appreciated her hospitality with breakfast food that was left out so kindly for us. Although it was such a brief stay on our road trip, we will consider staying here again in the future if we are in the area!

The most comfortable stay ever,a nice and kind lady, cooks very good breakfast.And even she cooked noodles for me, I will be there again for sure.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Julia’s place. The bedroom is spacious, private and comfortable. The bathroom is perfect. Everything is spotless! The bed is unbelievably comfortable. I slept very well and found the location quite peaceful. Julia is kind, and warm and made me feel at home. I highly recommend Julia‘s place without any hesitation.

Cathy was the sweetest host, showing us around where everything was, and incredibly responsive to messages. Setting out breakfast for us in the morning was a great touch; very thoughtful! The place itself was gorgeous! An 1800's farmhouse with modern upgrades and still a beautiful, vintage charm and homey feel. WiFi offered, little chocolates in our rooms, plus fans and heaters for whatever sleeping style you prefer. We slept great and didn't have a single negative thought or thing to say about the experience we had. Cathy and her husband Todd were great hosts and we would ABSOLUTELY stay here again, whenever we return to VT. 11/10 experience!

Julie and Glenn are lovely hosts! The house is beautiful, and breakfast was wonderful. Was a pleasure to stay at their home.

such a wonderful place ; we felt so welcome and home ! the hosts were purely wonderful, kind and very opening! the breakfast was a 5 star world class restaurant, truly delicious! it was so nice to meet their furry compagnons ( huskys ) who are all so friendly!

This was a lovely, true "bed and breakfast", experience. Myra was a delightful host and I would love to come back some time.

We spent two nights with Rick and enjoyed our stay. You're renting a room in a quaint old complex of three or four old buildings converted to hotels. You can hear people walking the halls, but we did not hear anyone in their rooms. There is no "front desk", per se. If no one is at the Cleveland House office when you arrive, you call a number posted on the office door, and someone from the staff will arrive shortly to check you in. Every staff member we met was pleasant and welcoming as was Rick. We were offered our choice of three rooms. The staff member was happy to walk us around to the different buildings to show the options and answer our questions about each. The rooms are clean and simple; there is a chair or two and a small table, plus a closet and dresser. These rooms are to be slept in, not stayed in for the day. After two days of walking and seeing all Newport had, it was perfect for us to sleep. The quiet street was as safe and short walk to Thames Street.

We enjoyed beautiful weather during our whole trip. Sandie’s home is a delightful environment, especially the morning room where you will enjoy a wonderful home cook breakfast every day. DELICIOUS! The home is located in the best neighborhood in Summerville, beautiful houses surround, quiet area and very private. Just a short drive to all your sightseeing areas in Charleston. Sandie is very accommodating, has a good sense of humor, and very willing to please. We enjoyed her as a host and would definitely return. The room itself offers a large closet for storage, very light and bright room with 3 large windows and a super comfortable bed. This is located on an upper level but only 4 steps up. Sandie is a dynamic host and LOVES being your host. What else could you ask for? A 5+ hostess!

This place has been one of the best places I have been to. Charlene and John are really great people who are welcoming, made us feel like home with everything available as described. The location and ambiance is great with peaceful environment and beach is just 10 minutes drive. Amenities like hot-tub, fireplace made the experience even better. We highly recommend visiting this place.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Robins place. She was so sweet and kind and communicative. We weren’t able to get our vehicle on the ferry so we had to walk on with our bags and she worked with us for early check in and late check out so we didn’t have to lug everything everywhere. The outdoor shower was to die for. I definitely hope to stay here again next time we come.

I spent a wonderful week at Niyoshas place. The room was well equipped and Niyosha was always up for a chat. Due to the location of the accommodation, I had a good mix of nature and quietness, but also the vibrant city life. The beach is wonderful and I really enjoyed the walks there. The GO train takes you to Toronto Union Station, so I also explored a lot of Toronto city (CN Tower, Arts Museum, Distillery District). I can highly recommend the accommodation and would be happy to come back.

Lovely home, great location and friendly and helpful host. Felt more like a "hosted B&B or inn" rather than the more common experience I've had with Air B&B of the host being available but not a visible presence. If you are looking for a private, nonengaging experience, this might not be for you. However, if you enjoy meeting your host, we found Bob to be warm and cheery and he made us a lovely breakfast with excellent coffee. Rosy was away so we did not meet her, however, her decorating talents were much on display from the tableware to the linens and accoutrements, all of which made us feel like we were special guests.

This space was perfect for our group of 4. The host was extremely friendly and responsive and keeps the place in fantastic condition. The hot tub overlooking the creek was beautiful and relaxing. Cute, cozy, clean. Just what we needed for our weekend getaway.

What a lovely and beautiful location amongst the woods... perfect living space, a wonderful kitchen with everything we could want or need. Sharon is the consummate host. We absolutely love being there and our 2 dogs do too! We can't wait for our next visit!!

Such a beautiful, peaceful setting! I felt at home when I walked in. Gordon was very welcoming, as was the rest of his family. This is a place I definitely plan to return to! The fields and dirt roads are so walkable if you are looking to stretch your legs, and the surrounding countryside is spectacular. You won’t be disappointed.

Dave’s place was great! Parking in the alley was a little hard to find, so we parked out front when we first got there and then figured it out. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect for our large group for our weekend to Cedar Point (which was only 10-15 minutes away). If we had been there an extra day it would have been nice to walk around cute downtown nearby. Hot tub was a nice amenity. Host was very good at responding and accommodating. Highly recommend!

it was so great that we extended a while longer. He really makes you feel right at home and has everything taken care of. His attention to detail as far as any items you make have forgotten to pack I'll bet he has ready for you. We fell in love with Zeus his GIGANTIC great dane immediately. I was a little intimidated and nervous at first because he was SO big and we had our 3 year old son with us as well but, he is the most gentle giant and is very mindful of his size and careful around everyone and within minutes they were best friends. Chris' house is beautiful and super clean. You can tell he has worked hard on it and takes pride in sharing it with others. As he should. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. it's s a 10 out of 10 for me for sure!
