Fab location in the heart of the city! Amazing deck overlooking the ferry building you could spend all day just watching the comings and goings. Easy walk to great eateries, Britomart and Commercial Bay. Amanda is a very responsive and thoughtful host.

A lovely spot, private and peaceful with amazing views of the water. Prompt communication and flexible arrival time .. Thanks Tim, we had a relaxing few days.

This is my second stay at William's lovely house. The house is super cozy, well appointed, and the views are amazing. I highly recommend it. Do pay attention to the stairs, there are a lot, but worth the effort!

Michael, We would like to thank you for affording us the opportunity to stay at your place. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of life gave us the chance to switch off, relax and take in nature. The views are amazing and getting out on the kayaks paddling around the island and visiting the smaller secluded islands like Pembles island isn’t something you get to experience often. We would also like to acknowledge and thank you for making this booking so easy. Your communication has been outstanding, directions and instructions were clear and we could not have asked for a better host. We highly recommend Micheal and staying at the Tree house at Kawau Island.

we've stayed at 6 bachs in Piha now, and this is the best. not cheap, but you get what you pay for. great facilities, great decor and lots of nice touches and location is unbeatable with views over the beach. one thing is that the upstairs and downstairs are 2 separate units both with their own bathrooms and kitchens. this would be great for 2 couples, one with a kid or two, but the levels are not internally connected. we just had it for the two of us and never went to the lower level.

We're had a fabulous time staying at this beautiful location. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Maxine was an awesome host and kept us well informed about the local water outage on one of the days, to ensure it didn't spoil our holiday. It didn't. It's been fun making memories as a family, at this home away from home.

what a place!! the house is far back road and incredibly serene. we came with two young kids and 4 adults and there was heaps to keep us occupied. trip across the estuary with kayaks to these amazing beach breaks a particular highlight. The whole house has something for everyone and honestly think we may be back. Rebecca was also an amazing host and had loads of local knowledge to share.

The host was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations for things to do in the area. Wonderful stay with wonderful host. Host was really friendly and provided great suggestions for Auckland touring. The location was quiet but close to fun restaurants. The unit was spotless and beautifully decorated. Comfy bed with nice linens. Everything you might need in kitchen, bath and closet. Lots of nice hangers in closet- my pet peeve. Like staying at a nice resort. Highly recommended.

Due to a mistake with Airbnb, I had to check out later than expected but Gali was more than welcoming and accommodating. A kind, friendly and interesting host. Great location to walk down to the beach, or just hang out on the balcony and take in the views. Gorgeous, can’t wait to come back.

Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!! Die Unterkunft ist eine 15 min. Fährenfahrt von Auckland entfernt. Zum Devonport Ferry Terminal geht man ungefähr 20 min. zu Fuß. Die Zeit vergeht jedoch sehr schnell da der Weg direkt am Meer entlang geht. Der „Cheltenham Beach“ Strand ist vielleicht 50m von der Unterkunft entfernt, perfekt für entspannte Abende am Meer. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sauber, mit frisch renoviertem Bad und schönem Wohnzimmer mit sensationellem Ausblick zum Meer. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es war alles wirklich sehr sauber! Nun zu den Besitzern der Unterkunft. Bruce und Karen sind mit Abstand die nettesten Airbnb Hosts die ich bisher kennenlernen durfte. Nicht zu aufdringlich und immer extrem hilfsbereit und fürsorglich. Ich kann das Airbnb jedem herzlich empfehlen!

Suyun was a great host and was very responsive in communications. We had a problem with one of the locks and he was extremely quick to respond and to bring someone over to fix the issue. The house has a beautiful lounge with a great view for relaxing.

This place was amazing ! We felt so at home, the comms were amazing, easy check in and even had a full manual to go with the stay which had everything you could think of ! could not highly recommend the place enough!

This place is the most amazing Muriwai accommodation. Seeing the beach and surf report right from the balcony was a real treat! But the home and soroundings are also so beautiful and welcoming. We live nearby in Auckland and already had what we needed with us but Clare made sure we know she would be there for us to help and provide anything we're missing. The cafe and literally the cool shop up the road are a 5 minute drive and 22 minute walk away. Thank you so much for having us Clare! We're so grateful and we had an amazing time.

Loved staying at Liz’s place! Comfortable beds! Wow they were comfortable! The outside deck made you feel like you were in a tiny oasis. 4 min walk to one of the most beautiful beaches! Would definitely recommend staying! Liz even let us barrow two bikes for our young children. Thank you Liz!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the quiet peaceful neighborhood surrounded by lots of parks for our son. We would definitely love to return & stay in our next trip back to Auckland

Fantastic location, very comfortable accommodation with own access. It was amazing watching the sun rise over the ocean and so handy to walk to Wood Street restaurants and shops. Rog was very kind and we loved meeting his German Shepherd, River, who was a total sweetheart. Thanks Rog!
