Honnêtement séjour inoubliable grâce à l’hospitalité de Yusuf ! Je reviendrai chez lui les yeux fermer et bon rapport qualité prix et toujours à l’écoute et attentif surtout ne change rien. Bravo et pour ce qui hésite franchement le secteur est sure et énormément de restaurant aux alentours. Encore merci et à bientôt Inch’Allah BarakAllahoufik !!!!

Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

The house is spacious (two bedrooms and a living room) and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden and the cozy winter lounge are great spots to relax and enjoy a cup of tea. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, just two metro stops away from the Bosphorus shore (Üsküdar). From there, you can easily get anywhere in Istanbul by metro, bus, or ferry. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and some are open all night.

Denis was very helpful and attentive host. We stayed there for 4 nights and all 16 of us really enjoyed the house and location was perfect! Near to the tram and ferry station and super easy to locate. Btw the rooftop was the highlight of the house! Mostly love everything about the house 🤍🤍 thanks a lot Denis!

Me encantó mi estadía en la casa de Yusuf. En primer lugar, no puedo estar más agradecido por la hospitalidad y amabilidad de Yusuf. Siempre estuvo atento a lo que necesitaba, y estoy profundamente agradecido porque incluso me llevó a la estación de tren cuando tuve que salir temprano en la mañana. En cuanto a la ubicación, fue muy fácil de encontrar, ya que se encuentra en una ubicación privilegiada con varias estaciones de transporte público principales a poca distancia. Esto hizo que moverme por la ciudad fuera muy conveniente. La limpieza de la casa fue impecable, tanto en la habitación, el baño y la cocina. Además, puedo asegurar que la casa está equipada con una serie de comodidades, como lavandería, agua caliente y una excelente presión de agua. El internet también funcionó perfectamente durante toda mi estadía, lo que fue fundamental para las múltiples videollamadas que tuve que realizar.

A magical escape in the heart of historic Istanbul! Our stay at this Balat apartment was absolutely incredible. The flat was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything from a modern kitchen and smart TVs to air conditioning and central heating. The real highlight, though, was the 100 sqm terrace — the views of the sea, Golden Horn, and city skyline were breathtaking. Whether dining under the stars or relaxing in the cozy winter dome with a PS5, the space was perfect year-round. The location is unbeatable — just steps from the sea, tram, ferry, and steeped in rich history and charm. We loved exploring nearby sacred springs, churches, and local cafes. Communication with the host was smooth and everything matched the listing perfectly. Thank you for an amazing stay. We’ll definitely be back!

I had an unforgettable stay in the heart of Cihangir, in a peaceful and elegant location. This place is not just an accommodation but truly feels like a second home in Istanbul. Every detail has been meticulously considered: a spacious and comfortable living area, the pleasure of a home cinema experience on a large screen, a bright and quiet neighborhood… Even the bed, pillows, and dryer have been carefully chosen with comfort in mind. For those working remotely, this place is also an excellent choice! There is a dedicated workspace where you can comfortably take care of your business. Sara, made this experience even more special. With her warm hospitality, excellent recommendations about the city, and attention to every detail from check-in to even sharing the local grocery store’s number, she truly made me feel at home. If you are looking for a comfortable, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed home in Istanbul, this is definitely the right place! I will definitely be back!

What an adventure to stay in such a piece of history! Characterful, clean place decorated to care, with 2 small bedrooms, 3 single beds, lounge, basic kitchen and terrace- all tucked well away from everything but still close to everything. Ali is truly a gem, super communicative and ultra helpful with anything we might need. A really sweet human who goes out of his way to make sure you’re happy. A fabulous place for a couple days to tour the wonders of Sultanahmet. Bet it’s even better is summer!

We had a very nice stay. Volkan replied immediately, gave clear self check-in instructions, and there was always 'staff' nearby who could come to the apartment within 15 minutes if we needed help. When our toilet didn’t flush upon arrival, someone came to fix it right away. When our toilet paper was almost finished, we received new rolls. The apartment is brighter than it appears in the photos, thanks to two street-facing windows. I had feared it would be too dark, but that wasn’t the case. The location (New European Quarter) is great—close to Galata Tower, Taksim Square (full of restaurants and shops), and fancy hotels like the Pera Palace, where Agatha Christie wrote Murder on the Orient Express. Do note that the area is noisy both day and night, and the flat is not well insulated against sound. Streetlights prevent full darkness, even with curtains. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs and a sleep mask. Bus, metro and train stops are 3-10 min away—leading to the 'Old city'.
