Geographically, Hyde Park Plaza is centrally located in Sydney CBD, walking distance to the Opera House, Darling Harbor, Circular Quay to name a few. Not your usual studio apartment, this cosy apartment is spacious with a large bathroom, walk in robe and study area. Enjoy the view out of the large windows that run across the whole apartment. Really, this is truly is a 'little oasis in a big city'! The apartment is light filled and airy with a hint of luxury. It is designed and equipped for couples, solo adventurers business travellers - really, it is set up for you, Airbnb visitors. You will find it ideally positioned on the corner of Oxford and College Street, only minutes from Museum train station. Discover Sydney on foot! Walk to many of Sydneys iconic attractions including the Opera House! Also you will be close to Museum station and busses to take you easily to areas of Sydney like Bondi. There are all types of cafes and restaurants near by as well as very good grocery stores. Downstairs within the building, there is even a good Thai restaurant. Check the street view to see how central this location is within the city. Using a lift, you will be staying on the top floor of the building which is the same level as the pool and gym. Whilst staying the apartment take advantage of going up to the pool area even if you aren't keen on swimming. You will find the view up there absolutely breathtaking! For those of you wanting to keep fit, there is also a gym. Please read and respect my house rules. We would love to meet and greet you and then stay out of your way. Please let us know what time you expect to arrive to our apartment so that we can arrange a time to meet you:). We will always do our best to be flexible with your check-in time. Please understand if you let us know last minute on the day, there is a possibility of a delay in your check-in time as we plan in advance our schedule..... hence, please be patient:) There may also be occasions where you may need to collect keys from concierge. Wake up in the heart of Sydney, step out and walk to explore Sydney's attractions like The Opera House, Art Gallery, Sydney Tower, Royal Botanic Gardens, Darling Harbour, China Town or Sydney Convention Centre. Walk to trains, buses or ferries to reach Manly, Bondi Beach or The Blue Mountains. Experience quality near-by cafes, restaurants & enjoy the atmosphere of a cocktail-bar, nightclub or our Casino. Then relax at the rooftop pool to marvel at the city view or take a work-out at the gym. Museum station is only minutes of walking distance away. You can use it to visit any other part of Sydney quickly. In fact, you can take a train from the airport, get out at Museum Train Station and then walk a couple of minutes to reach the apartment. The train ride takes around 13 minutes. If however, you prefer to take a taxi, the taxi will take approximately 20 minutes (between $45 to $60 depending on traffic). Buses are your other option to travel around Sydney. There are several options and depending on where you would like to go, the bus stops are again only a short walk. The 'INSTANT-BOOK' function is enabled so you can make a booking straight away if your dates are available. Please refer to the Airbnb listing calendar for availability of the home. If dates are blocked out, that means they have been taken. PLEASE NOTE: If a party or any type of gathering which would exceed the maximum number of guests is held within the apartment, your booking will be cancelled. You will be escorted off the premises, and no refund will be given.

Fairlight Maison

Beautifully decorated and is equipped with everything you'd need for a home away from home stay. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds. Separate living room with a cosy fireplace and dinning room for 6 people. A charming study with a small daybed, a desk and printer. Well equipped kitchen good enough for any chefs. Sunny balcony off the master bedroom to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. A plunge pool with sunbed in the rear courtyard garden for soaking up the sun or alfresco entertaining & relaxation. We provide luxurious bedding linen, Egyptian Cotton bath towels, high end bathroom amenities including a hairdryer. Unfortunately we do not provide beach towels and we don't have a BBQ. There is a Nespresso Coffee machine in the kitchen and we provide a few coffee pods to get you started but you will have to purchase the additional pods at our local supermarket, Coles. Instant coffee and a small selection of tea are there for you to use of course. Guests will have access to the entire house by themselves. Guests will have full privacy. The house is conveniently located within a 10-20 minute walk of the famous Manly Beach precinct, home to a multitude of trendy cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. In addition, there's easy access to outdoor activities, such as bushwalking and surfing. If you don't want to do the 10-20mins walk to Manly, there is a local free bus shuttle (Hop Skip & Jump Bus) that takes you to directly to Manly Beach and Manly ferry. The bus stops right across the street in front of the house and comes around every 30mins. To go into the city there is also a public bus stop just around the corner but we suggest you take the scenic ferry ride across the Harbour into Sydney and you'll be in the heart of Sydney's tourist attractions. If you have a car you can park on the street in front of the house. There is always plenty of parking available. Fairlight La Maison is a terrace house on 3 levels so there are steep narrow stairs which might not be suitable for young children not used to stairs and elderly people. We have a gas fireplace. There is a Nespresso machine but only a sample of pods will be provided to get you started. If you would like use the Nespresso Coffee machine then you will need to buy extra coffee pods at the local supermarket. We don't have a BBQ. You will also need to bring your own beach towels as we do not provide beach towels at the house. We don't own a cat but our neighbours do. Nero is the black cat and Oscar is the grey marble cat. They are super friendly cats and often wander into the house if the doors and windows are left open. If you are allergic to cats we suggest you don't allow them in the house.

Just so you’re aware, we live in the main house at the front. While you may occasionally hear us, we’re very quiet and respectful of your space. Please respect the neighbourhood while you are listening to your music and keep the noise down. Your retreat is fully private, we absolutely respect that.

You could not get a better location in the city. 333 bus to bondi , bottle shop, cafes just downstairs. This one bedroom unit is offering a really comfortable stay with excellent views.
