Zanzibar: soggiorni in alloggi sulla spiaggia

After 2 weeks of volunteering, this accommodation was great to come down and relax. The location was really great and Barbara was always on hand to help with recommendations, a bajaji etc. needed. It was a great end to our time in Zanzibar. Highly recommended!

Smukt, privat, roligt. Det perfekte sted at koble fra og glemme hverdagen for en stund. Der er massere af plads til frit at udfolde sig, om man er til træning og yoga, eller hellere vil ligge ved poolen i enten sol eller skygge. Smuk udsigt og gennemført have.

My friend and I celebrated a birthday here and stayed for five nights. It took us a little time to adjust, but once we did, we had an amazing and high-quality stay. The Popo house was perfect spacious, well-equipped, and featuring a big pool and a fully functional kitchen that we made great use of. Popo House is located on the sunrise side, allowing us to wake up early and enjoy breathtaking sunrises. Every morning, we could walk down and watch the local people working on their seaweed plantations, which was a unique and fascinating experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the two incredible dogs, Millie and Poppy. They took care of us throughout our visit, providing both companionship and security. At night, they would bark if they sensed unfamiliar people, yet they were so well-trained never entering the house uninvited or stealing food. They were truly polite and loving, and saying goodbye to them was the hardest part. Overall, we absolutely loved this place. It’s perfect!

2 weeks in this house was really peaceful and nice. The general manager Mudy and also Anna were very proactive. The house is situated in a very quiet environment and we could walk 15 minutes to Kendwa beach. Otherwise we took moto taxis. I really recommand this place

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in bester Lage direkt am Strand. Ausstattung und Sauberkeit sind sehr gut. Die Terrasse, die bei Flut nur einen Sprung vom Indischen Ozean entfernt ist, ist einzigartig. Wir haben in Jambiani keine andere Unterkunft gesehen, die solch einen privaten Zugang zum Meer bietet. Bei Ebbe kann man sich immer noch in den vorhandenen Whirlpool legen😎 Es gab in den zehn Tagen, die wir vor Ort waren zweimal Stromausfall, dies wurde aber umgehend durch ein Stromaggregat aufgefangen. Hakuna matata! Was unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem gemacht hat war Barau, der Manager vor Ort. Er wohnt in der Nachbarschaft, ist immer erreichbar und ein sehr hilfsbereiter, freundlicher und zuvorkommender Mensch. Er kümmert sich sehr gut um seine Gäste und hilft zuverlässig dabei alle Arten von Touren, ob zu Land oder zu Wasser zu organisieren. Außerdem bieten Barau und seine Frau Zuhura sehr gutes authentisches Essen zu absolut erschwinglichen Preisen an. Also unbedingt ausprobieren!

Beautiful, peaceful place to rest in. We enjoyed swimming in the private pool, and the stunning view of the sea. Julia provided us with a cot, a high chair, and even some toys for our son.

We just had an incredible stay at this beachfront villa in Zanzibar. It an incredibly beautiful location, and the house is spacious and clean. The real star of the property, beside the gorgeous beach is the staff. From the management agency, to the house manager Sule, to Tatu our housekeeper and Fabio the most friendly and warm Maasai guard- everyone made my daughter and I feel right at home. We hired a fantastic chef, Robinson through the agency and he made the best food at our request every day and the cost was reasonable. This is a must book for a peaceful vacation in Zanzibar away from the commercial hotel scene. Thank you Paolo for hosting us!

Nous sommes restés 15 jours et tout était parfait! Cet endroit est magnifique, les extérieurs sont exceptionnels avec ce jardin de sable blanc, des palmiers de plus de 10 mètres, une piscine idéalement située à mi chemin entre la maison et la mer avec sa plage privée... L'accueil et la disponibilité de Niccolo et de ses équipes ainsi que leurs conseils nous on rendu le séjour très agréable. Nous avons passé 2 semaines au paradis!

Fantastic location on the ocean, with fabulous views from all terraces and especially from the upper outside deck. Great open plan living space with views and spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms . The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and discreet, always there to greet and assist. The property and gardens are really well designed and have a great flow. Superb walks to the reefs at low tide. The remote location provides great privacy and relaxation, highly recommended. We will be back!

Amazing all around! We stayed in 3 airbnbs in Zanzibar and this was probably my favorite (it was also the least expensive). The pool is huge and perfect at any time of day. Grounds are beautiful with lots of flowers and trees, and you feel perfectly safe with several night guards. The room itself had everything we needed - fully equipped kitchen, fast wifi, mosquito net, COLD AC (so nice after hot days). Lovely living room space to spread out and relax, as well as an outdoor private patio with another couch and table. Shower was nice and hot (the water gets extra hot so just be careful). Plus there are multiple spots in the common areas to lounge, including a gym, lounge with TV, reading nook with books, and an additional pool on the other property across the street. The propriety also has bicycles that you can use for free. We ate at the Italian restaurant in the other property and it was delicious! The surrounding neighborhood is also really cool to see locals going about their daily lives. There is a local restaurant nearby called Ommy’s that looked amazing and has very cheap local food if you want to try. Unfortunately we went too late in the day but we had several very positive interactions with Ommy and bought some produce from him at a very good price. All in all we absolutely loved our stay here and would 200% recommend it to anyone looking to relax in a very comfortable spot at a great value.

Super Fantastic Host Extraordinary. I am yet to meet any host of Carol’s capacity. Over and beyond that call of duty. I love to cook on holidays, Carol was my guide that took me to the local market, made sure I wasn’t reaped off by the locals. Went to two different markets. Helped to change currency at the local bureau de change. All around astonishing and outstanding ! Highly recommended and appreciated.

There’s not enough words to describe how great of an experience I had staying at this home. It’s exactly as advertised and the reviews about it told no lies. First of all it’s very clean to the point where you can sleep anywhere in the house and feel right at home. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless with all the amenities you need so if you forget some essentials there’s no need to worry because the house provides it. Our house staff were so responsive to everything we needed. Anything you need just send a quick text message and they will be at your door smiling with everything you desire and ready to assist you in any way possible. I’ve traveled all over there world so when I say this place is first class treatment, I mean it. This is my second trip to DT Villas. I stayed in the house next door last year and I love how this entire property/premises is growing more like a top tier hotel resort every year but instead with rental homes. Nowhere on Zanzibar island is better, trust me

Fantastic villa. It’s not often you get to stay in en enormous house that used to be part of a Sultan’s place. Even after reading all the positive reviews it exceeded expectations. The house is an experience itself and Rafael as a host is very easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips. If you want to treat yourself to exceptional experience while in Stone Town. Highly recommend!

Hanna, Inès et moi vous remercions énormément pour cet accueil unique. Le cadre est sublime, Paulette et Didier ont été aux petits soins avec nous. Nous nous sommes senti comme à la maison. Paulette a su répondre à nos besoins et nous a préparé un festin excellent (spécialité congolaise/swahili) avec des produits frais. Sa cuisine est faite avec amour et beaucoup d’attention. La décoration de chaque chambre et séjour commun sont magnifiques. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter et nous recommandons cette maison d’hôte. À bientôt!!

Im Januar besuchten wir Zanzibar (ich zum 4. Mal und hatte zuvor in diversen schönen Unterkünften gewohnt). Die Airborne Kite- und Surfvilla ist ein echtes Juwel in einem wunderschönen Garten/kleinem Dschungel gelegen. Wir fühlten uns gleich herzlich willkommen und auch wie zu Hause. Alles,was wir zum Kochen benötigten,war vorhanden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es reichlich und der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Das Team von Jan war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenn wir auf der Terrasse saßen,hatten wir oft das Gefühl,wir befinden uns im Zoo.Da gibt es 4 verschmuste Katzen,die uns täglich besuchten (manchmal wollten sich auch 2 weitere dazugesellen😊),ein Perlhuhn,eine Maus (die es immer wieder schaffte,den Katzen zu entkommen),eine Echse (die sich zur Mittagszeit gerne auf den Steinen sonnte),Bushbabys (die wir leider nur hörten),verschiedene Vogelarten,Zikaden….u.v.m.. Wir haben uns wunderbar erholt und die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Von uns 10 ⭐️ 👍 Anna u. Ines

Had a lovely stay. Everyone including staff and front desk were very friendly and always checking up on me to make sure I was okay. Food was very tasty, and drinks were delicious. Lots to do in the area about 30 - hour drive , if you request a driver or tour guide.. excluding safaris and going into different towns. Can’t wait to visit again !

This place is a true gem. Hidden away, it's not the typical Zanzibar tourist spot. In fact, we were the only non-local people in the whole neighbourhood. It felt amazing to shop in the local village micro-shop, get fresh fish and calamari straight from the fish market, enjoy the private beach. If you feel like disconnecting, winding down and relaxing to the fullest - this is your place. And then, when you feel like exploring anything Zanzibar has to offer - you have all the options. Ali, the manager, is gonna be your guide, driver, and will arrange anything you please. We went to Stone Town, to Paje, to one of the spice farms, to the Jozani Forrest, to see the turtles, to go kayaking, spent a day on a boat trip (saw dolphins, went snorkelling, visited the famous sand bank, had lobster and fish on a private island). Ali even arrange for Omar, a private chef, to cook for us one evening. We hope to visit again one day. I highly recommend Nick's place! You will not be disappointed!

Ottima vista, alloggio bello e nuovo, spazi esterni sull’oceano. L’unica pecca è che la location è in mezzo al nulla, ove non esistono nemmeno i servizi minimi. Comunque noi siamo stati molto bene

We had the most incredible stay at this stunning property! The location is absolutely perfect—secluded and tranquil, making it an ideal retreat for our group of 8. The surroundings offered peace and serenity, far away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The accommodation was outstanding—spacious, beautifully designed and comfortable. Every corner of the property was thoughtfully curated making it feel like a true home away from home. What truly made our experience unforgettable, however, was the wonderful staff. Led by Yusuf, they went above and beyond to accommodate every request. We hired the private chef, Suleiman, and he delivered the most outstanding meals we could ask for. The staff even arranged kayaking experiences for us which was an absolute highlight. We couldn't have asked for a better team, who were so accommodating, friendly and professional throughout our stay. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful, serene escape. You won’t regret it!

Wenn du im lebhaften Sansibar eine stille Oase sucht, bist du hier genau richtig. Ein privater Strand und unverbaubare Seesicht in alle Richtungen und von überall auf dem Grundstück. Ein gutes individuelles Frühstück, Abend und Mittagessen. Frisches Obst (So viel Passionsfrüchte wie man essen kann) und eine gut eingerichtete Minibar im Kühlschrank. Freundliche und Prompte Antworten und Erfüllung der Wünsche. Eine klare Empfehlung.

Moza was great communicated well and provided a great place to stay. The location has a lot of stuff within walking distance so it was very convenient and safe.

This home right on the shores of Jambiani Beach is a dream come true. We loved every minute of our stay. Kerstin was an excellent host and communicated exceptionally well. Sulei (the local caretaker) was very helpful and provided daily advice for activities, food, taxis, etc. Overall, this home is in an incredible location and was the perfect place to have a restful vacation.
