Yorkshire: soggiorni in iurte

Me and my partner really enjoyed our time in the yurt. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The staff in the shop/ reception were excellent for local tips on what to do and where to go. I would definitely return.

We had a magical stay in the Yurt at Fordhall Farm. It was fantastic to feel so close to nature the yurt was ever so comfortable. Our two children absolutely loved it - the barbecues, the wood burner and keeping cosy, the amazing beauty of the place, the animals voices (!) - and so did we. There are brilliant walks which are perfect for young children and we were supplied with bug hunting rucksacks to go and explore. And we found the farm itself a really inspiring place to be with an incredible story.

We loved our stay, the staff were really nice and welcoming. The yurt was a great way of glamping. The pub along the road the kings head did lovely food and had a little games room out the back. We had the dog with us and there was little dog treats and stuff on arrival which was nice. It was very cosy with all the little lights. The breakfast was really nice on the morning we checked out. Thank you for a lovely stay we will definitely be back

Second time here...didn't disappoint. We had a fantastic weekend..lovely fires, BBQ, great food and friendly staff. Bed was super comfy, lots of little "bits and pieces," to make it all easier. There's plenty of walks, bike rides and lovely pubs to visit. 100% will be back for a third time next year! Well done guys and thanks! :-)

Myself and my 5 friends came here for a lovely birthday weekend, pleased to say it was one of the best birthdays I could have had. The host was absolutely amazing, so welcoming, friendly and attentive. The place is just as it seems on the pictures, so beautiful, and the facilities are amazing, they should be charging more if I say so myself!! My friends and I could not fault a thing, they supplied everything you could possibly think of. We will definitely be visiting again and couldn’t recommend this place more for a lovely get away:)

10000% would recommend anyone to stay here. I booked this as a suprise for my partners 30th. And we were both blown away. Firstly surrounding areas are breathtaking. The check in process was super ease. And the yurt, oh my how do I even begin to explain how perfect this was. My partner was so so happy with this suprise. The hot tub was an amazing end to the trip Thank you so much to Amy we will definitely return again in the future

Great stay at the yurt, all the facilities that are needed for a quiet weekend away from the hustle and bustle.

My daughter, 12yr old grandson and I stayed for 2 wonderful nights. The yurt was so lovely, cozy and comfortable. Andri was an amazing host.

We had a lovely weekend at Spire View Yurts. 4 university friends having our annual weekend get together. Exactly what we needed. Clean, quiet, toasty warm Yurt, relaxing and lots of attention to detail. Everything we needed to eat, chill and catch up. The hot tub under the stars on a clear, cold, February night was lovely. Drove 20 mins to Bakewell in the Saturday, did a gentle circular walk, ate lunch in town and enjoyed the beautiful town.

We loved our stay in Hilary’s eco yurt. We were a bit unlucky with the weather so couldn’t take full advantage of the outside space. The yurt was very cosy and the bed was comfortable.

Kids absolutely loved it. A good family adventure - the excitement of outdoor cooking and camping with the luxury of comfortable beds, a private hot tub and private outdoor kitchen exclusively for our use. Would definitely stay again and would recommend. The added cost of additional logs to heat the hot tub was a little unexpected, however. I may not have read the small print properly though.

Julia and Jim were the perfect hosts. They could not do enough for us in what was an unforgettable weekend away with the kids. Beautiful location and we were made to feel so welcome. Thank you

Booked a lovely last minute getaway and it was everything we imagined a lovely stay with everything you need , it was so nice to be able to reconnect with nature and just relax , hosts were very informative and helpful we will definitely be back again in the future

Beautiful stay in beautiful surroundings! Myself and my daughter loved our stay in one of the glamping pods. The facilities were fantastic, location was gorgeous. It was all topped off by glorious sunshine for the whole stay- perfect!

Visited the lodge for one night for my partners birthday. It looked amazing when we arrived. It was lovely and warm as the log burner had been on. My partner loved it and the extras we asked for (balloons and banner, robes) all topped it off to be a really special get away. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

This is a beautiful, picturesque stay, with charming furnishings. Jane and Jim are great hosts, always ready to help, whether it’s setting up the hot tube or helping with recommendations on restaurants ect. We will definitely be back..

Tom’s place is absolutely beautiful! This place not only met our expectations but highly exceeded them. The Yurt is spectacular, more spacious than I expected, and completed to a high standard. It felt magical with all the fairy lights. The surrounding are beautiful and allow you to immerse yourself in nature. Calm walks surround the Yurts and make you feel like your party is the only ones there. There is a lovely sauna/spa looking out into the forest. The Yurts are isolated from one another, feeling very private. The hot tub was perfect, and the touches of the bbq/pizza oven make this place a 5/5. Check in was easy, the Yurt was easy to find and Tom introduced himself making sure we were welcomed and offered to start our fire for us!! Brilliant hospitality. We will recommend this place to our friends and hope to visit again soon.
