During your stay you will be located in a private area with a small creek behind the property bringing peace and tranquility. In this space there are outdoor areas for you and your friends or family to enjoy such as a fire pit, grill, outdoor patio and dining space. Inside you will find a calm and inviting space well stocked with anything you may need during your stay!

Warrior Trail Lodging, LLC The Caretta Cottage

Located approximately 6 minutes to War, WV and HMT trailhead. A Short, nice ride to the Wilmore Dam, and to High Rocks. NEW ADDITIONAL PARKING FOR LARGE TRAILERS across the street from the Cottage. In addition to approximately 50 ft. in front, 40 ft. in back, 30 ft. on the side of the cottage. SEE PARKING PHOTOS. We are on Rt 16, part of the ”Head of the Dragon” Motorcycle Riding Route in Caretta, WV. You will have easy on/off access to “Warrior Trail” from Caretta or War.

Then come drink hot chocolate next to the fireplace, or have a glass of wine while watching the sunset on the covered porch!

Cabin located near Hatfield & McCoy trails!! Approximately 6 miles from Warrior Trail #11. Welch is ATV friendly so you can ride your ATV the whole 6 miles. No need to pull your trailer!! The cabin is also very close to Outlaw trails! Plenty of parking!! Super nice fire pit to relax by after a full day of riding the beautiful trails!!! We now offer WIFI and a gas grill!! Please bring sheets and towels!!
