Argyle Cottage is very cosy! A fully self contained house close to the hospital and a short stroll to the main street. It is surrounded by a beautiful verandah that looks out onto a cottage garden. A/C thru out,ceiling fans, tv, bbq, linen and undercover parking. Walking in the mountains or a visit to the observatory, viewing the dark skies or a drive to the Sculptures in the Pilliga or perhaps a visit to Pilliga Pottery , Argyle Cottage provides a home away from home to return to and relax.

This newly built private guest suite has everything you need for your next trip to Gunnedah. The queen size bed features luxury linen for the best sleep possible. There is a separate kitchenette equiped with fridge, microwave and essentials. A full size bathroom with luxurious king size bath and separate WC. The Old Schoolhouse was originally built for the owners’ children to attend correspondence school but has since been transformed into self-catered accommodation with fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom. Experience the enchanting octagonal “fairy tale castle”, hand-crafted from local timbers. Relax and enjoy the beautiful views from the large, Swiss-style balcony, and take a shower in a hand-sculpted masterpiece! Preferably no pets in The Old Schoolhouse.

Situated in the heart of Cotton and Wheat Country. Our little house offers comfortable, clean and convenient accommodation. Whether you're staying overnight or long term, we can accommodate you. Walk to the local pub and cafe. Council pool directly across the road. 3km to the Burren artesian bore bath ( April - Oct) generally. Burren Junction is a great place to base yourself to visit Lightning Ridge, Mount Kaputar National Park, and many other beautiful spots.

We have 1 x double bed 1 x king bed that can convert to 2 x singles 2 x day beds 1 x fold out lounge and a king single trundle bed.
