Lovely place! We spent 3 nights here over new year and would highly recommend it. Amazing views and walks from the doorstep (hidden waterfalls were a gem!). The weather was unpredictable (high winds, heavy rain, then ice) but Richard’s communication with us was excellent - even before we arrived he contacted us to warn us of the bad weather and advised us to arrive earlier than planned so we weren’t travelling in the dark (the cottage is up a steep hill - easy to find when you have the directions, but I’m very glad we arrived in daylight!). There was snow on the day we left, and Richard kindly gritted the path so we could leave early. Mobile phone reception and WiFi was a bit patchy at times, but the cottage was clean, warm and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and constant hot water. The log burner provided extra warmth in the evenings. There’s so much to see and do in the area, I wish we’d stayed longer! Would definitely come back again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay celebrating my birthday and catching up with friends. The location was awesome, very tranquil and peaceful, the house itself had ample room for the four of us and everything catered for. We spent Saturday walking in the nearby Clwydian Range (Moel y Gamelin circular route), and what better way to ease achy legs, was the hot tub and a few relaxing beers. If you're looking for a very relaxing getaway, this is a place for you. we would definitely visit again. Diolch Iola

The house was beautiful and very well located. Will definitely consider staying again but maybe in the spring/summer as we found the house a little cold in the evenings/overnight.

Such a wonderful house. It’s huge, with plenty of space inside and outside. Surprisingly warm, with a homey feel and comfy beds. Charlie the house keeper was extremely helpful and friendly. We loved our stay and will be back.

Another wonderful stay here. Immaculately clean, beautiful surroundings, super comfy beds, just everything you need and more. We were very lucky to see two lambs being born within a couple of hours of arriving! So special, thank you. The kids loved the huge rope swing in the garden and all the games and toys provided. Thank you so much for a perfect mini break :)

This is a lovely place to stay. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings and The Nook is spotlessly clean with first class fittings and furnishings and everything to make your visit enjoyable. Gaynor and Mark are great hosts ,friendly , welcoming and helpful . We would definitely return without hesitation.

We had a wonderful few days at Richard’s place, the views are STUNNING & the local town is lovely with lots of lovely places to eat. Richard was very accommodating with our late arrival due to how far we travelled & gave us clear instructions to find the cottage. We didn’t use the hot tub ourselves as we didn’t get time to but do bring robes & suitable footwear as it is a very short walk from the cottages.

Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

We had an amazing stay here! Everything was spotless, including the bathroom. The hut was lovely and warm, with everything you need. The area was beautiful, with donkeys, horses and the lovely farm dog who came to visit us a few times. We felt very safe staying here. We were only a couple minutes drive from Conwy but it was also an easy 20 minute walk into the town. As well, it was a great location for hiking/ walking. With some beautiful trails only a 30 minute drive away. Would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you😊

We absolutely loved our stay in Wales. I booked it last minute and couldn’t have been happier! The location is just stunning, so peaceful and quiet. The garden was perfect for our dogs and little boy to roam around and he even got to say hello to the horses! The place was really clean and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable too. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again when visiting Wales, thankyou :)

So chuffed we found this place! As a group of 7 girls we had plenty of room, great location for nearby walks and easy access to eat/drink out. The novelty of the animals around the house was really fun and the house itself was lovely. Very comfy, had everything we needed and the luxury of the hot tub was an added plus. Julia was really great with all the information prior to arrival and the gentleman who look after the animals were super friendly. Would love to go back and would highly recommend.

This Airbnb was a delightful find! It had all the essentials for a comfortable stay, and the host went above and beyond by providing milk and breakfast options. A truly welcoming experience!

Sue’s place is absolutely stunning, photos do not do it justice! We were so lucky with the weather, but the place is stunning regardless. Super secluded and private, the garden is well enclosed meaning our German Shepard could have a great run around.. The hot tub was fantastic and was a welcome relief from the heat during the day when it was cooler. Super comfy bed…we probably brought a bit too much food in hindsight as we couldn’t fit everything in the fridge, so if you plan to do your own meals maybe bring along a cool box etc. Such an amazing stay, thanks so much Sue.

Loved the apartment it’s set in beautiful garden. Catherine and Archie were very welcoming and really helpful with my questions before we arrived. It’s a short walk in to Oswestry and lots of countryside walks from the doorstep.

A beautiful place to stay! As a company hiring this house, it was perfect for our fencers in location to our work site. Daisy has been most helpful and responsive. We would come back again if in the area!

Cottage was exactly as described but better. Set in a beautiful location. Carol and family made us feel very welcome. We will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at the log cabins - Maengwynedd is such a beautiful, peaceful location. There’s an incredible view of the lush green Welsh valleys, with lots of little lambs skipping about. We were lucky to have stunning sunsets and fabulous warm sunny weather during our stay. The children absolutely loved the hot tub. So did the adults, when they got the chance! The cabins are perfect - a cosy living room, comfy beds, and all the facilities you need for a group stay. The gardens were really well kept too. Thank you to Haf and all the team for making our little trip a home away from home. We had a fabulous time and will hopefully be back again. Diolch yn fawr!

We had such a wonderful stay! Helen and Tony are absolutely lovely—so friendly, caring, and welcoming. The cottage itself is beautiful, warm, and cozy, with everything you could possibly need. It’s also spacious—big, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking, and the fact that you live on a farm with horses and birds around adds such a peaceful, magical touch. It’s the perfect spot for both relaxing and exploring. We truly felt at home and can’t wait to come back!

A wonderful stay as a group. Dylan and Sian were lovely host and were available anytime we needed. The house was warm and cosy, the perfect environment for us all. The hot tub was great and they were lovely and relaxed about our stay. The dogs loved the area and there was so many walks nearby to take them on. Thanks again, and hope to come back soon

A lovely time spent at The Collection Yard Barn. The property is clean, tidy and full of everything you need. The hot tub is the biggest hot tub I’ve seen and had enough room for all of our guests! The kitchen has everything you need. Large Smart TV in the living room able to connect to apps such as Spotify. 3 decent bathrooms with powerful showers. The whole barn looks better than in the pictures to be honest. Great location in. We also took a walk along the canal. Decent pub down the road with lovely food. Keith was there on hand to meet and greet us and responded to any messages. Would recommend.

Me and my friends had a lovely stay here and would definitely book again. The place is well kept and remotely located. The hot tub is a great extra alongside the games room. Sian was very helpful and pleasant, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to family and friends

Idyllic surroundings, calm and peaceful setting. Got to experience a typical countryside setting. The cottage lived upto it's photos and description. We specially enjoyed the sunsets and the scenic views with the sheep grazing in the meadows.
