Worcester: soggiorni in cottage

We booked our stay for a couple of nights away for our family of 4. Talita and Vinny were very welcoming to their adorable place! The cottage is right on the water on the very clean and lovely lake. We had everything we needed and I loved the way the place was decorated. We really enjoyed the stand up paddle boards and the shaded seating area. Our kiddos (9 and 11) we very happy hanging in the hot tub and tossing bread to the blue gills. Good food options nearby - we really enjoyed George's Surf n' Turf. I recommend this stay and hope to be back in the future!

It was exactly what my family was looking for. It was relaxing and private. It allowed us to not feel cramped like a hotel stay, but allowed us to cook and enjoy the relaxing day. If you have a small kid, the golf cart is a must!

We loved our time in this very comfortable house with gorgeous views. It was close enough to restaurants and to Newport to be very convenient but also far enough away to be peaceful. The beds are very comfortable!

We had an absolute blast on our girls getaway weekend!! The cottage and community were amazing, exactly what we were hoping for and Doug couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He was always available by text or phone. The cottage was clean, nicely equipped, and a great location!! We will definitely be renting this cottage again on our next trip!!! We found the cottage to be spotless and had everything we needed for our 5-day stay. Our hosts were friendly and so very considerate. It is a sweet, cozy cottage- perfect for our visit!

My daughter and I stayed at John’s place for a week and it was wonderful. The space was clean and perfectly appointed. The proximity to the beach was great, too. John was an extremely responsive host. I would absolutely stay here again. Barrington is a great town. If you’re a coffee drinker you have to try Borealis in Riverside. The Blue Kangaroo and The Black Pear are great breakfast/lunch spots as well. We loved Barrington Books - great spot for great gifts.

This place is bright with lots of natural light. Well equipped with very nice sun room and patio. Close to Old Sturbridge Village where the Christmas show was excellent. We had a relaxing and cozy dinner at the Duck. Gwendolyn was a gracious host keenly attentive to our arrival, weather, comfort and more. You will enjoy the cottage.

This little cottage sits perfectly on Cobbett’s Pond and was a cozy stay for my Sister and I while traveling to the area for a funeral. Would definitely come up again to stay, especially during the warmer months to take advantage of all the amenities that Ana provides. Hands down one of my favorite Airbnb stays.

Place was great! Weather did not cooperate for us unfortunately but it was such a cool little spot right on the water. Some great options for food and drink within walking distance too!

Donna’s place was great for our weekend getaway! We loved having our pup be able to join us. The fenced in yard was an extra bonus. Donna had all the amenities we needed from dental floss to extra blankets/linens.

Donna was a wonderful host for my colleagues who really appreciated the help that she gave during our stay which we extended. Many thanks again for being a great host it was helpful as the guys were very far away from home! We will add this accommodation to our list if we are working in RI again in the future. Fiona

This is my second time staying here (see my first detailed review) so I’ll just add this property is quiet, clean and makes you feel like you’re at home. Christopher is responsive if there are any questions and the location is convenient to a main road while still being quiet. I’d stay again if ever needed.

Great spot right on the lake, it is really beautiful here! We got to walk the beautiful property, took the kayaks out for a quick trip around the lake, enjoyed the beach sitting and chatting with each other and it was close to Douglas Orchard and Farm where we were visiting family for a wedding! We would happily come again! The wood burning stove also kicks when you get it going!

This is a super cute cottage that is well decorated and has a fully stocked kitchen. Everything felt new. It was a cozy place to watch movies on cold nights with a gas fireplace. About a 12 min (pretty) drive to UConn. Julie was a wonderful hostess—so responsive. I highly recommend this place!

Essays have never been a strong skill of mine, so please excuse my bluntness. Prudence Island is not for everyone. It is however for me and my family. We came to ride bikes, fish, walk around, and just relax. It was only for a few days, and we have 4 kids, so relaxing was a bit tricky. Thats on us. However, as far as Taiji's cottage is concerned, it catered to what we were looking for. With quick access from the Ferry, to the beach, or even indoor entertainment (we arrived just before a storm). He and his team had provided everything we could need, and then some. (Thank you for having a pack and play for our baby.) While I'm hopeful to own a place on Prudence (someday...) I would certainly like to stay here again, and would highly recommend Taiji's place to any interested individual or family. Thanks again, -Patrick Cassidy, 3rd generation islander

This place exceeded our expectations & needs! The host was kind enough to let us check in earlier at a cost & we’re so glad we did. It was a beautiful location & set up. We enjoyed the special touches to make it feel welcoming. Thanks for the “extras” you offered incase we forgot to bring anything. Everything was great. Would most definitely stay here again!

What an amazing stay! The place had great games and the porch was such a treat. The view from the fire pit was so relaxing and we enjoyed toasting smores while overlooking the lake. We ended up taking the folding chairs and playing catch by the lake, which was only a short walk away. Robert was responsive when we asked where to get firewood. We also enjoyed the Sturbridge coffee house and Maine Lobster (we liked it so much, we went twice)! We ended up going to the farmers market and flea market, which were great finds. Overall, a great stay with the kitchen utensils, bathroom necessities that you’d need. Close by the lake and a great neighborhood!
