orto_uralla is a shed conversion just for couples. Simple luxury…that soothes the soul. King bed, bath with a view, kitchenette, stunning floor to ceiling windows capturing sun and views, indoor wood fire and outdoor fire pit and your very own Bocce court. orto_uralla offers a tranquil, intimate space to relax and unwind. Please note: The shed is not suitable for children or infants The shed is close to our house but you will have complete privacy (except maybe from the chickens and kangaroos!)

House on a Hill, Dorrigo

House on a Hill is a 3 bedroom house located 10 minutes from scenic Dorrigo. The house is modern and fully-equipped for groups of 8, with sofa beds available for larger groups. Stunning views over the surrounding farmland which sweeps down to the Little Murray River mean plenty of beautiful walks around the farm chasing waterfalls and bird watching. There is a wood fire to snuggle in front of on cold winter's nights and plenty of space to relax and get back to nature surrounded by rainforest.

Highlands Lodge

Highlands Lodge is a magnificent stone and timber chalet nestled amongst 150 year old deciduous English Elm and many other European Trees. It is beautiful year round but particularly in Autumn. Located at Black Mountain (approx. half way between Sydney and Brisbane) in the heart of the beautiful New England Region, it is only 25 minutes north of Armidale and 10 minutes south of Guyra. Set on a working Sheep and Cattle property, Highlands Lodge is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

A secluded couples’ retreat on a lush rainforest hilltop, overlooking the tranquil Kalang River—just 5min from vibrant Bellingen. Perfect for a family or two, or for a quiet getaway.

It comes with a deck for your private use and uninterrupted views of the breathtaking sunset. We will be on hand for any advice or help but you will be left to enjoy your stay. A short drive from the Dorrigo township and National Park, but otherwise serenely secluded on our 50-acre property. Idyllic farm cabin.

The Barn

The Barn is fully self-contained accommodation 20 metres away from the main farmhouse. Wildlife abounds on this secluded 140 acre farm. You’ll wake up to the neigh of a horse, or the chatter of the cheeky King Parrots. We hope you like animals! Great place to take a break & breathe in the country air, while still being only 20min off the M1 motorway & 18min to the Grafton CBD. Fold out sofa bed available for additional guests or kiddies. A wood fire for colder evenings and air-con for hot days. Walk to the river and forest. This is private and inspiring accomodation 10 mins from Bellingen, a perfect retreat. Organic muesli and fruit provided for breakfast.
