Bring your fishing rod and catch your bass supper in the shallow waters of Reed's Bay, followed by smores over a large fire pit. The shallow and clear water is ideal for swimming and your little ones.

Welcome to our cottage on Dog Lake, a beautiful and serene lake noted for its fishing, paddling and wild life. Nestled between Toronto and Montreal, we are the perfect destination for those needing some quiet time while visiting the 1000 islands. Build a bonfire, go for a swim, explore your surroundings by canoe or on foot. There's lots to do. Or, do nothing at all. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the screened in porch while listening to loons watching hummingbirds and fireflies. And breathe!

The Boathouse

The views are surreal! With over a 200 degree view, sitting on the couch seems like sitting over the top of the water. Located on a small protected bay, also home to two yacht clubs, you'll see boaters of all kinds. The fishing is fabulous right from the dock. Located on a quiet private road, you'll be walking distance a from restaurants, an ice cream shop, shopping, banking, the local library, and even a small winery! There is deep water dockage if you plan to bring a boat.

Resting 20 feet from the waterside, accessories include a bbq, outdoor boathouse patio furniture, fire pit with seating, and a gazebo with lounge furniture. The cottage has easy access to the front main door and a three car parking area. The beach is a two minute walk away and with minimal neighbours the street is quiet, offering quality comfort in a peaceful, private area.
