Lovely peaceful place to stay. Authentic Japanese theme makes a refreshing and interesting cultural change. Care and love has gone into creating the Wabi Sabi Sanctuary.

The place was absolutely beautiful and cozy feels like we’re just at home chilling. Every part of the room is spacious. Spotless clean. Backyard was big where we set up the party. Host was kind and responsive. We enjoyed our time spent in his place. Will definitely come back

Great location and property. Perfect stay

Had a wonderful time and spent most of the long weekend at the Cottage and Annex, there was 11 family members, very close to Thruxton Go Karting centre and was ideal to be able to pick up my online provisioning order from Tesco's Extra 10 minutes away. Very much enjoyed the weekend and we all had fun. Would certainly book again when we are planning a Go Karting day out in Andover. Thank you for your patronage Rachel, until next time. Darren

Jess' accommodation is instantly welcoming, light and comfortable. The lounge is bright and opens up onto a private courtyard perfect for sitting in the sun to read and or have a drink. As it was off the lounge area it meant that you could be inside or outside and still be comfortable and able to relax. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The kitchen was gorgeous and easy to cook in. Overall, Jess' accommodation is clean, well equipped with good spaces to relax in both inside and out with a really lovely feel and closeness to nature. It is the perfect place to rest yourself after a long day of exploring the Oxfordshire countryside and unwind in.

Farthing Cottage was an absolute dream for a lover of all things English, Cadbury and cottage garden style. I arrived very late due to a train delay. Louise was very communicative and concerned on my behalf. She had lights on when I arrived. First thing on the spot - Malteser bunnies under a cake dome with chocolate easter egg cake! How did she know about me and maltesers/Cadbury! A welcome card also greeted me. The cottage has 17th century beams, lending a warm and cosy atmosphere. The fireplace had to be original and was gorgeous. Plenty of books, brochures and an instruction sheet. Living room was so cosy, I could have stayed there forever. Lovely furnishings. The master bedroom was sublime. Beautiful duvet and the bedframe appeared right out of Laura Ashley. Great bed and wonderful sleep. Louise couldn't have been more kind. Lovely neighbors. I couldn't get over that I could look out the window and see Jane Austen's house! My eyes welled up when it was time to go.

Miranda's cottage is very well situated and set up for doing as we did - enjoying the local area, taking advantage of hot summer days by the pool, and walking in the woods with kids. Highly recommended for families of 4 or even more if you're prepared to really use the space. My kids were very happy sleeping in the twin beds, and we were able to use every inch of the place.

Carina was a good host and always available without being intrusive. The property is well priced and cosy with all the amenities required for an extended stay with lots to do on the doorstep in the beautiful area as well easily accessible links to the motorways to travel further afield. We visited the place and used it as a base as a family of 5 and spent a lot of the time out of the property as we were visiting family in the area. The amenities were great and we were able to wash the kids clothes that were getting dirty from all the outdoor activities available on the doorstep, we did a fair bit of walking in the surrounding country trails and went to legoland which is close by, the local pub was within walking distance and served fantastic food at a great price. I have nothing negative to say about the accommodation and host and would welcome another visit here, if I was to add a constructive appraisal would perhaps look to update the soft furnishings for a enhanced experience.

It was such a lovely stay at Lucy and Nick! Everything was perfect and all the family so lovely and welcoming. The cottage, the surroundings, the animals, the region, .. I will come back soon for sure!

We loved the house, the terrace, the pub next door, the woodland with the Bluebells, the villages along the river Thames. We had a great time and wonderful weather!

What a great setting for an escape to the country! I already miss waking up with the chickens and pigs to greet me every day. I also saw more wild animals and birds in my walks around here in a week, than I have in years in London. Auriol is a great host, relaxed, knowledgeable and friendly, and the property is exactly as described and shown here. Tips for other travelers: If you’re a light sleeper bring an eye mask and earplugs as it does get sunny in the main bedroom. Looking forward to returning here!

What a great find tucked away up a quiet residential road....in the morning with the birdsong we felt we could have been in the countryside! The house was bigger than we'd expected and the outside space was a real bonus in the lovely weather. Two big ticks were the comfortable beds and good water pressure for the shower - we look forward to staying again when we're in the area.

This cosy house is perfectly located within a very pretty town . Easy walking distance to: shops; pubs; restaurants; train station! The house itself is super comfortable and has everything we needed for our break, including parking space for our car! Matt, the host, checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was great !

We stayed at Lee's for four months while my husband was shooting a movie at the nearby bovingdon airfield. This is the perfect location in terms of proximity to the studio. The place is very clean, quiet and peaceful. There are footpaths at the end of the driveway to a sprawling forest, ending at the common where there's a nice pub. You'll need a car here to reach most things, but this was expected in the countryside. The shower is a little small for tall people (my husband), but otherwise the place is wonderful and has absolutely everything you need. Lee even had the place cleaned once a week, included in the fee. A great option for filmmakers who don't mind being in the country.

Schöne Unterkunft, mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Alles notwendige war vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, hier zu übernachten.

We were delighted with our stay at the Coach House. As well as being spotlessly clean it was furnished and decorated in a pleasing “ Country Chic” way, which was entirely appropriate. We loved the privacy and leafiness of the surroundings and woke to the sound of the dawn chorus and nothing else! Alison could not have been more helpful, but only came to us when needed. Highly recommended.

Susanne is a great host with a fantastic cottage, perfect for us a family of four. Well equipped and folder with lots of info for local amenities. Beautiful surroundings, well maintained. Would definitely re-book when back in the area.

We verbleven hier met ons jonge gezin. De perfecte locatie voor een bezoek aan LEGOLAND, Windsor Castle en een leuk boottochtje over de Thames. Heerlijk gegeten in de leuke restaurantjes in de buurt! We hebben genoten!
