Welcome to our home: where we have found peace and relaxation for over 20 years. A German native, Big R fell in love with the open land and rolling hills of Wisconsin, becoming a US citizen in the 80s. He met Curly, a Chicago city girl, who brought a little city to his country life. They enjoy raising buffalo and spending warmer days on their porch enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views (with no mosquitos!). Now they want to share their idyllic and peaceful home with you. Drive down a dead-end road and pull up to a rustic cabin filled with high-tech and cozy amenities. We have something for everyone with a gas fireplace, tv (complete with dish, Cinemax, HBO and a Bluetooth sound system), board games and a full kitchen. Take a drink outside to soak in the hot tub or sit around the campfire. When the day is done, you will fall asleep instantly on the memory foam bed, either in the loft or the bedroom, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise looking out over your little getaway.

Staying in a dome amidst nature is a unique experience. The circular structure offers an amazing view of the surroundings, with peaceful sounds of rustling leaves, chirping birds, and a flowing river below. The cozy dome has a queen size bed, night stands, a seating area, mini fridge, and a k-cup coffee maker & heater/ac. At night, the starry sky and nature's sounds lull you to sleep. Waking up, you feel refreshed, and the peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views leave a lasting impression.

Welcome, with this unique key-less entry, you have privacy. Walk into the fully loaded kitchen and living room. The living room has a desk to work at or watch TV. The bathroom has a walk in shower; use the fan or heat lamp. The Bedroom has a queen size bed, a dresser, night stand with lamp. Along with a spacious closet, it includes a washer and dryer. Feel free to do your laundry and hang your items up. Working, relaxing, and living. Our space have all the essentials you need for your stay.

Perfect Location! Under ten minutes to almost everything. Our cozy and romantic getaway is nestled in the scenic Baraboo Bluffs, just minutes to Devil's Lake, Devil's Head Resort, Historic Downtown Baraboo, wineries, distilleries & more. Take the picnic set to Devil's Lake or Parfrey's Glen, then relax on the patio for smores and yard games around the fire pit. Finish the evening snuggled up with wine & vinyl on the player. We have ample parking so bring the boat, we'd love to help you getaway.

River Valley Retreat

Enjoy your stay in the Spring Green Area! This private apartment in the lower level of our home is located on the edge of town - close to everything you're here to see! This space provides a home-like feel while you tour the area. Offering a one bedroom (queen bed) with the ability to sleep up to 4 more people (2 on sectional sofa and 2 on air mattress), plus a loaded kitchenette (no stove), dining area, bathroom, extra space for gaming (includes a free arcade and foosball) and private patio.

TB2 Apartment

Welcome to TB2, a beautifully updated two-bedroom apartment located on the lower level of the Steampunk Manor B & B. While housed in the same building, this apartment is completely separate from the bed and breakfast, offering guests privacy, comfort, and a space all their own—including a private entrance. Welcome to the Wisconsin River! Our 1750 sq. ft. cozy riverside chalet features 300 feet of river frontage, master bedroom in the loft, deck overlooking the river, bunk beds, full kitchen, propane fireplace, firepit, and a natural spring running through the yard. The property offers stunning views from every room in the house as well as easy access to the river. Our location has a beautiful view, stunning in fact, but we are very close to Hwy. 60 and there is heavy traffic noise.
