The house has 2 bathrooms, one with a tub/shower and one with a step in stand up shower. Hardwood flooring throughout with the exception of the bathrooms. High efficiency washer/dryer and 5 cup Keurig Coffee Maker with coffee pods, creamer and sugar supplied. Completely renovated with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We are truly HAPPY to have you be our guest!

Peaceful Getaway

Peaceful Getaway in the country, 15 min from Winnsboro. Right off main hwy, 3 minutes to grocery store, 20 minutes to Walmart. In between Monroe, LA & Natchez, MS - both cities one hour away. Great to visit them & come back to a tranquil setting away from the city noise. 20 minutes from fishing! Apartment is attached to our home. It has private entrance. There is WI-FI and Smart TV, no cable. We provide kitchen so you can make your own breakfast. Guests can remain completely secluded or visit!

The Governess Suite at Lansdowne

Spacious two room apartment on second floor of 1853 dependency originally used as a school room and governess's private quarters. Completely renovated in 2017-2018, with fully stocked kitchen, dining area and comfy sleeper sofa for socializing or extra guest. Bedroom has Queen bed, sitting area, and bath with marble tiled walk-in shower. Ceiling fans in both rooms and on large private gallery - great for morning coffee or tea, listening to birds, or watching fireflies in spring and summer.

You can feed the ducks, use the kayaks to take a stroll or fish, or just have coffee and read a book. We have games for the family, seasonings in the cabinet, and a coffee bar for your convenience. ⚠️ Located close to a busy road. I provide sound machines and a fan. But if you’re a really light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs.⚠️ Enjoy a stylish experience at our cottage! This little house has lots of country charm with some glam in the mix. We’re centrally located in Columbia. We have a Barber shop in the parking lot. There’s restaurants right across the street. 10 minutes down the road is a golf course. 3 miles up the road is the river with scenic walking trails.

It sleeps four comfortably with one queen size bed and hide a bed sofa. James’ cabin has everything that you need including kitchenette, WIFI a Roku TV. This place also has covered parking.

If you’re looking for a “getaway”, here’s your place. Located 7 miles outside of Rayville and 20 minutes from Monroe La. It’s the perfect spot. 65 acres to roam on, a nearby “break or swamp”, a stocked pond just outside your back door with wild ducks much of the year, you’ll find plenty to do without leaving the place!
