Walkers can explore the High Peak Trail directly from the cottage.

The cottage is located in one of the oldest parts of Wirksworth, where miners cottages were randomly built around the hillside with a unique maze of paths and 'ginnels' (alleyways). Pubs, restaurants, cinema and shops are all close by. Our cottage has been lovingly restored and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Wirksworth is a small market town on the edge of The Derbyshire Peak District, an ideal location for walking, cycling and other outdoor pursuits. The cottage, originally a quarryman's dwelling, has been fully refurbished and is maintained to a high standard. The accommodation: double and single bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, shower room and TV lounge. Outside is a decked sitting area. Parking is in the courtyard of Babington House next door.
