Our favourite stay this time in Moorea. Mimi’s bungalow is a gem and well worth staying at. The amenities are carefully thought out and the bungalow is beautifully furnished. Mimi has thought of everything you need and it makes for an amazing time. The surroundings are lush and peaceful, and the best part is that you can hear the waves crashing when you sit out in the patio. Mimi is a responsive and helpful host and I highly recommend her. Maururu Mimi!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautiful. The beds were the most comfortable we slept in our entire trip to French Polynesia. The pool was much needed after hot days exploring the island. The host was excellent about communicating with us, and even offered to do a mid week clean when my parents decided to stay longer. I would definitely stay here again!

Tiki Beach, Pool & breakfast « te Moana »

Tiki Beach was an amazing experience! We did have troubles initially finding the location based on the address that was provided. My suggestion would be to search "Tiki Beach Moorea" on Google Maps to get the best directions on how to get there. Once we got there, the place was beautiful. Poe and Florida were incredibly hospitable and kept the whole property pristine while we were there. The bungalows are cute, cozy and clean. The pool and lounge area were incredibly relaxing, and listening to the waves crash while reading a book in the lounger was one of the highlights of my trip. The Motu Grill was only about a two minute walk down the road from Tiki Beach. The fish burger was the best meal we ate the whole time we were visiting French Polynesia. We cannot recommend it enough!! Overall, our experience was wonderful, and we hope to return with a group of friends in the coming years to relive the memories all over again! :)

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Matairii. La villa est spacieuse et bien équipée, parfaite pour une famille. Elle est située à proximité de la belle plage de Temae, elle est accessible depuis un chemin assez mal carrossé mais praticable si on roule doucement. L’aérodrome à proximité n’est pas un problème, le trafic est très limité. Les chiens du voisin se sont calmés, pas un bruit la nuit. Un petit chat adorable garde la maison. Matairii est un hôte à l’écoute et sympathique Je recommande vivement et n’hésiterai pas à revenir lors de mon prochain séjour !

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour en couple au « Teahupo’o Little House ». Le lieu est très paisible et donne une belle vue sur la montagne. Un fare très charmant, propre et fleuri, bien équipé et joliment décoré 🌺 Gwendoline a été une hôte bienveillante, gentille, serviable et réactive. Nous avons passé une nuit dans le logement, la vue est à coupé de souffle, les hôtes très sympathique et accueillant. Nous reviendrons à coup sûr 🤩

Bungalow n°2 sea side, motu Temae, with pool

One of the newer and prettiest cabin you can get on island, and we been to many. The only downside we had was road to get there - dirt road with many holes from rain, elevated car would be best to have, everything else was what we expected or better. You can go to ocean in front just not to swim, only to plunge in and enjoy waves. Couple time small shark swimed by getting stuck in shallow water.

Mata and Hiti are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. It was like staying at the home of a friend, from the warm welcome to the delicious breakfasts with homemade jam and juice. Their modern home has spectacular views of the mountains and we enjoyed walking through their land up the valley to a waterfall, where we took a dip. The beach at the lagoon is short walk away. My two adult daughters and my stepdaughter all enjoyed learning about Tahitian culture and food from Mata and Hiti and also hearing stories of Teahupoo as a global surf spot. We appreciated all their local recommendations and someday hope to return to also hire Hiti as a hiking guide. It was a memorable visit to a special place.

Such a lovely stay with Hiti and Mata--wonderful hosts who love sharing Tahitian culture. Beautiful uncluttered modern house in quiet setting with gorgeous views of the mountains and cool breezes. Loved the breakfasts with fresh fruit and bread and homemade jam. Great location in walking distance to beach. A very special experience to stay here.
