Pet Friendly Adventure Safari Tents

Set in their own small secluded glade, our Safari Tents have one double bedroom and a second bedroom with four single bunks, as well as a bathroom, kitchen and dining area. Locally sourced produce and essentials are available for purchase in the on site shop, so you can bring as much or as little as you wish. On-site parking is available. We are able to accommodate stays of the following periods: 7 night stays commencing on a Monday or Friday, Monday-Friday (4 nights), Friday-Monday (3 nights).

It even works when your not on a campsite, ideal for those cosy winter nights. Our insurance is valid for ages 23-75 with a driving licence held more than 2 years unless not from the UK (see countries listed below).

Lovingly restored 1965 Retreat with proper loo, shower, underfloor heating and Wi-Fi! King size bed with linen, towels and toiletries provided. Fully equipped for 2 . Snuggle into The Tipi and soak up the view, make suppers in the the pizza oven or BBQ or huddle around the firepit and cook over the embers. Discover the walled pond and private jetty or wander down the lane to The Pub. Magical! PS: the caravan is compact with limited headroom - the high+mighty will need to duck!

Camping Barn, Abbot Park Farm

Built in 2012, our slate and stone camping barns boast 6 single beds on the first floor. The ground floor space includes a dining area, kitchen area which includes a microwave, kettle, toaster, small fridge and a single electric hot plate. and a ground floor wet room. Bedding, towels, cutlery, crockery are all provided. Outside are stunning views, a picnic area and public footpaths through the farm. Breakfast is not provided can be requested at an additional cost.

Foot O'Skiddaw

Nestled at the base of Skiddaw, Foot O'Skiddaw offers a unique glamping experience, providing a perfect base for your mountain adventures. Situated on a farm that’s been owned and run by the same family since 1954, this romantic hideaway is set just over a mile from Patterdale village with its selection of country pubs. This area is a great base for visiting the Northern Lakes and Fells, and there are some great walks and bike routes to explore from the door. Walk to Ullswater and take a trip on one of the steamers, or visit the beautiful Aira Force waterfalls.
