Come and experience the beauty, peace and tranquility of this Gem on a farm between the mountains, 1 hour drive from the small town of Kareedouw. NO LOADSHEDDING! Completely off the grid. Lovely inside braai/fireplace as well as outside braai. Wood for sale. Take an easy walk for 1 hour through the forest to a private waterhole, where you can swim and have a picnic. Off grid cabin for 2 in the Langkloof

A mountain retreat for artists, lovers, writers, gardeners, hikers, birders, farmers, adventurers and all in pursuit of peace and beauty. Please note: 4x4 or capable high clearance vehicle required. Getting here is part of the adventure! The farm is only 5km off the R62 but this is a gravel mountain pass that requires the right vehicle. If you are travelling in a normal car or small SUV please reach out to make alternative arrangements for this last part of your journey.

The Nature's Valley beach, lagoon and hiking trails are just a 10 minute drive away. The farm itself has many activities available such as stunning walking/cycling trails, river pools for swimming, rock jumping, horseback outrides, bass fishing, polo lessons and more.

Cloud Cottage is located on Voogsekraal estate. The estate stretches along the mountainous and truly breathtaking Prince Alfred Pass. The estate forms part of the Outeniqua Mountains. This means exquisite views, waterfalls and walks.  The cottage is nestled into the hillside, amidst rockery and fynbos. With no neighbouring farms, cell reception, nor electricity, one is able to experience a true getaway.

Suikerbossie Mountain Cabin

Soak up the peace and quietness while enjoying the true beauty that nature has to offer. The cabin was completed just before the lockdown. The building of the cabin was started by my husband and completed only 2 years later in remembrance of him.
