This incredible space has been the inspirational hub for designing the most creative projects in Humboldt during the past 18 years. Now it has been reborn as an immersive space to enjoy the redwoods. Every inch has been thoughtfully designed to allow our guests to feel the enveloping majestic nature of the surrounding forest. Upon arrival, a golf cart awaits for your journey through the woods, to the upper landing of the raised boardwalk crossing over a seasonal creek bringing you to The Studio.

Close to Arcata, Ocean, Redwoods and the River, our Cozy Cabin appeals to solo travelers, couples and small families. This contemporary Cozy Cabin in the Redwoods with woodstove hearth is bathed in sunlight & is a short stroll to the Mad River, 10 min. drive to HSU/Arcata & beaches, short hops Eureka and Trinidad, & natural paradises of Sumeg Point State Park, Big Lagoon and Redwood National Park. Incl. shared Hottub w/ sign up sheet to reserve your own 30-60 min. tub times. No pets allowed.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy all four seasons. Summer river days are fun, but don’t forget the beautiful fall colors while fishing for Steelhead or Salmon in the brisk mountain air and cozying up next to a nice fire during the winter. The Green Cabin is nestled in the friendly Trinity Village with access to a private swimming hole. Also includes a putting green, outdoor pool and corn hole for extra entertainment. Brand new studio cottage, quiet, sunny, private, surrounded by gardens and orchards. End of the road, walk out the door to nearby woods, hiking trails, ocean views. Wake to the song of birds, and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Located on 2 acres, sharing the property with the owner but both places separate and private. Very short distance up the road to many unique Humboldt beaches, Trinidad, Redwood National park. Arcata and Eureka just south 7 and 15 min.

Popeye's Cottage in the Redwoods

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. This cozy cottage is nestled on four and a half acres of beautiful second growth redwoods just outside the town of Trinidad. It is a small and simple cottage with three beds and all the necessities needed to cook. The cottage's main heat source is a gas fireplace. WIFI service is available, there is no tv/entertainment center, so bring your laptop if you want to.

Built in the 1940s, Cabin 2 has been modestly updated but maintains a rustic, rough-around-the-edges feel. There are some eccentricities, such as the cabin bedrooms have curtain closures. It has all the essentials for an extended stay. It is cozy, clean and functional providing a nice, quiet base for relaxing and enjoying the local beauty.
