This was our first stay at this location and it hopefully won't be our last. beautiful location. you can't see the ocean, but you can hear it. The house is well stocked. The host is super responsive and easy to work with. we didn't have any problems at all. my only knock would be, I wouldn't recommend it for a family with littles that tend to put things in their mouths. The deck is in desperate need of a paint job and is constantly peeling. I'd be afraid of splinters and paint chips being ingested if a little one was on the deck. They do supply lots of baby supplies including gates for the stairs, so if going in more in climate weather, then it's probably fine.

This is our second time coming to this ocean cottage so we knew what to expect. We felt right at home in the cozy little cottage and had the amenities we needed. Kathleen was very responsive and easy to deal with. We look forward to coming another time!

We are 4-time repeat customers that thoroughly enjoy Rene's place. It's a quick trip to town, beaches and stores. However, we mostly enjoy staying home with our dog and hanging out in the backyard or the ultimate enjoyment, the private hot tub! We really loved the home improvements. Especially the new linens and the heightened fence. We'll be back, because were hooked on this place!

Nice place. Felt bigger than the pictures showed. We had 2 families, 4 adults and 5 little kids, and the house had more than enough room for all of us. Hot tub was a nice touch.

It was overcast and cold most of our stay, which put a little bit of a damper on the weekend. We spent more time than planned indoors, and the place was awesome. We were able to walk to the beach and mill around. 👍

We had a great week here catching up with family. The house is a perfect layout for two families with privacy for both. It was very close to everything in Westport and right on the waterfront. Our walk to the beach was flooded, but the drive to public access was only about 2 minutes. We had fun digging several limits of razor clams, dropping our crab pots off of Float 20 in the Westport marina and eating the local fare from the seafood shops. The house was very well appointed with everything we needed for a home base for a week of fun at the beach along with being quiet, peaceful and private. In addition, Susan checked in to make sure we got in okay and could find what we needed. This was a good choice for us and we hope to come back in the future. Thanks Susan!

Fantastic place with a responsive friendly host. The check in was easy and the place was really clean, great cooking supplies. There is a lot to do and see but you will need a car to get to some local activities- Fort Stevens, Astoria Column, Lewis and Clark National Park.

Greg’s Airbnb was as advertised! Amazing location right in the heart of Cannon Beach. The room was very clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I drove 81 miles from Seattle to Shelton to apply for an Enhanced Drivers License (Real ID). It was the earliest and closest appointment I could get to receive my EDL in time to fly in early June. BMVs across the country have been slammed with people like myself who put off getting their Real ID, which TSA will require beginning May 7th. As I suspected, it was a long drive with lots of traffic and a long wait at the DMV, so I decided to spend the night in Shelton before driving home to Seattle. Telissa's place is very peaceful, overlooking Oakland Bay. I actually enjoyed hearing the roosters crowing. And I loved the gift of a half dozen fresh eggs from the chickens. I highly recommend Telissa's place to anyone travelling to or through Shelton.

Incredible place! Views of the town and the Columbia River. Feels like a genuine home but also like a classic b&b. Easy to walk into town, host was responsive, bathroom was excellent.

i honestly loved this place !! it was super cute !! nice for a huge family !! i will forever stay here when i come back!! she had cute little toys for my toddler there too 🥹

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect - walking distance to the Riverwalk trail and trolley which allowed us to easily explore Astoria with our dog. Loved the little backyard for our pup and the thoughtful extra blankets and bed for our dog. The place was larger than I expected and more than what we needed for the two of us and our dog. Enjoyed our stay her.

This is our favorite place to stay in Astoria. The space is comfortable and the view is unbeatable. It's conveniently located above 2 restaurants and a coffee shop. We're looking forward to our next visit to Astoria and another stay in the 1st Mate's Suite.

Very convenient location, walking distance to beach and board walk while still maintaining a bit of privacy from the busiest streets with a beautiful view of the river. Clean, cozy and very comfortable beds. There are quite a few stairs to the entrance, just to keep in mind for anyone who is a heavy packer or have mobility issues, otherwise not a problem at all!

Much more enjoyable than staying in a hotel. It was quiet and homey, and close to the beach, and the price was very fair. An added plus was that we were celebrating our 50th anniversary and were welcomed with flowers, sparkling cider, a tray of protein bars and chocolates, and a very sweet 'anniversary card'.

We loved our stay at the Grey’s Harbor Flat! Cute space, kid friendly, with everything we needed for our baby, including a pack & play, fitted sheet, booster chair that straps to the dining chair and easy to clean. Also, plastic plates & bowls for our toddler! The condo was conveniently located 5 minutes from the beach. Short walk through the complex, and rinsing station to get all the sand off! The pier & food was a quick 6 minute drive, lots of flat walking and ice cream options. We had a lovely time. The hosts were responsive and helpful, answered all of our questions.

The view was beautiful and peaceful: other reviews are definitely right-on. We hit good weather during our stay and the view of the sunsets, and night sky with the moon and stars over the ocean was very memorable. The oven with air fryer option and the quiet washer and dishwater are very nice and much appreciated. Would definitely stay again!

Had a lovely stay over our anniversary! It was so nice to wake up to the view & walk a short 3 minutes and be ON the beach! We walked to town each day and that was lovely. When we arrived we had a cute doggie basket for our pup! It included treats, a towel, & a couple blankets! My only "complaint " was that we were not allowed to leave our dog unattended in the unit, crate or not. This is something that was very difficult as our dog is a large lab & we have a one year old who would have loved the aquarium but didn't get to experience. Personally I would have loved this place more if it were a little more "dog friendly" in the sense we could have explored town by leaving our pup. Another note, we were not allowed to use the private lawn for potty breaks, thankfully right across the street there was a small patch that worked just fine. Would definitely stay here again if we had a little more leniency in leaving our pup for short breaks from people & beach.

Annie and Bob were both so hospitable! They’re flexible on check in, created a nice lovely space just by the ocean and most importantly they added a personal touch! They heard we drove in for my fiancée’s birthday and they left a card, martinelli’s with glasses and a flower! Above and beyond by a mile! Would definitely come through again!

Great location for visiting Cannon Beach (a couple minute walk and you're on the sand!), which was our primary interest. The space was as-described and comfortable, and was easy for us to spend time together playing games and watching movies while also providing us room to spread out. Also having a restaurant, small store, and park all "right there" along the short walk to the beach was very convenient (there are wild bunnies that roam the park area!). And it was a short, easy drive down the highway a few minutes to check out Arcadia Beach and Hug Point, too. Additionally, we appreciated how responsive Austin was whenever we reached out and the suggestions/guidance he shared for our stay.

Great place to stay, private and very clean! Would reccomend to anyone looking for a place in this area!
