Whitestone: soggiorni in cottage

This is a beautiful place to stay, right on the lake with an amazing view, and a friendly beaver right next door! Our highlights were the hot tub, the fire pit and kayaking on the lake. This spot would be amazing in the Summer. The house is clean and well set up, the 2 downstairs bedrooms are small but just fine for sleeping. There is plenty of room in the rest of the house.

Joanne has been a great host from booking all the way to check out. She has communicated with us all throughout the stay. She was kind enough to give us a flexible check in and check out time. The place was as described on the listing and instructions were quite clear as to what’s what. My family and friends had a wonderful time.

Amazing, peaceful stay. We went as a couple without our kids and was a perfect place to decompress and reconnect. Aliya was very kind, responsive and forthcoming. She let us know ahead that because of the time of year it’s not exactly like the pictures. But we expected such. The house was in perfect shape. And very clean. They take very good care of it. Hot tub and sauna was nice to unwind and relax. The master and on suite was very nice and romantic. The beds were so comfortable. In town the local establishments were great and people were very kind. Exceptional customer service everywhere. Amazing trip in all ways. Thanks again Aliya.

Jim's place was exactly what we needed. We were 7 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us. The place was clean and tidy and exactly how it was described. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna. Great way to relax with great company. The location was great. Close to shopping, grocery store, LCBO etc. Loved the friendly competition of ping pong we had. The games room was great. I highly recommend this property.

An incredible property with plenty of space and activities! Highly recommend for a family or friends getaway. Jason was also a great host: easy to communicate with and accommodating.

The cabin was great! The only thing I was disappointed about were the neighbours so close on either side. The place was immaculate & super cute! My bf & I decided not to go anywhere that weekend, enjoyed the space, each other's company, it was the perfect spot for that. The hot tub was magical LOL we loved the record player & found these little handheld games in the kitchen cabinet. Yahtzee had us playing against each other and trying to beat the high score of whoever came before us LOL The Hudson had everything we needed. it's too bad we couldn't get to the kayaks, if the river was warm enough there's no doubt we would have used them. If I had any questions Mandie answered them within 30 minutes or so, she was great! Thank you so much!

We were there for the huge snowfall mid February, never left the property and we were never bored. Spent hours creating a toboggan run around the cottage, it was so quiet outside, lovely. The hot tub and the sauna were a huge hit. Inside there is a cupboard full of games and puzzles and lego and a large bookshelf but the prize goes to the karaoke machine, that was a blast for young and old. The communal space was wide open and so bright, enjoyed creating meals and still being part of the fun. The beds were comfy, clean and there were full heating pads on the beds, loved it. Local store had the coffee we forgot and lots of firewood. Steven made sure the driveway was ploughed for us early the day we were leaving, no problems on the main roads. Loved the location, perhaps one day we will get to come in the summer and check out the waterfalls and restaurants. Thank you Steven.

The place was great for our friends gathering needs. The kitchen was full and practical. The huge carpeted main area was great for our toddlers to run around. They even have high chairs and a pack n’ play. The whole place feels very homy.

We stayed 4 nights at Bryan's cottage and had a wonderful time. Very beautiful view of the lake. Although it was still a bit chilly in April, we were very cozy and warm at the cottage. It was very clean, well stocked, and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. The cottage even had some board games. Bryan was very responsive and was a great host overall. 5/5. Would highly recommend!

Had such a wonderful stay in Muskoka - the house is wonderfully well equipped with everything you'd need for a weekend away. Stunning views of the lake and spacious home to relax in! Having a car is a real must just given the area and proximity to amenities in town etc! Hosts were really responsive and helpful and the sauna is a real touch on a chilly spring day! Thanks and hope to be back soon!

We are a family of four with two young kids, and the stay in Azar’s peaceful waters cottage was great. The cottage is beautiful, decorated in very good taste, perfectly equipped and feels very homey. It is very clear that many details have been thought of to make it extremely friendly for guests, particularly for families (for example, there were spare change of sheets in the children’s bedrooms). We stayed there during a snowstorm weekend, so there we didn’t do a lot of travel around the area, but just staying in and hanging around the cottage was beautiful and very enjoyable. The location is very private and quiet. It is a perfect place for families. We would definitely come back to Azar’s cottage to visit the area at other seasons as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Jonathan Cottage! The place was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. It came fully equipped with lots of appliances, making everything super convenient. The access to the property was smooth, and communication with the host was always prompt and helpful. We especially loved the newly rebuilt outdoor areas near the lake—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. The cottage itself is spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. Highly recommended!

We discovered the perfect secluded getaway in this beautifully maintained property. The grounds were consistently plowed during snowfall, making our winter stay worry-free. The main cottage comfortably accommodated our group of 5, featuring a fully-equipped kitchen and a thoughtful welcome kit with snacks and coffee. Two full bathrooms with provided toiletries made sharing the space easy, and the comfortable beds ensured restful nights. The clean, spacious hot tub was perfect for relaxing after outdoor activities, and the reliable wifi kept us connected. We enjoyed both the excellent heating system and the cozy wood fireplace, all while taking in beautiful waterfront views. Killbear Provincial Park, just 40 minutes away, offered excellent winter hiking. Quick tips: bring extra towels as only one is provided per person, and pack slip-on shoes for travelling between cottages. While water has a slight odour, it tastes perfectly fine. We’d love to return in the summer! Highly recommend!

we had a great stay at Nicole's cottage! spacious, comfortable, clean and with everything we needed for a calm and cozy winter getaway. we were able to go for walks even with all the snow thanks to the well maintained roads and it felt so good coming back to a warm and beautiful space!! thank you for hosting us 🫶

A great retreat for a New Year’s nest. Loved the hot tub in the snow - and the bunkie! Very relaxing, comfortable. You should organize your food supply carefully though as it would take about 2 hours (40 min to Foodland, 40 min back and 20 min shopping). We were fine as we had brought lots of food with us. Also, the walls between the two bedrooms are very thin, so if you have a snorer….Otherwise, a wonderful property!!

We loved our stay at Natalie and Matt’s. Great little bunkie right on the water. The surrounding trees made it feel more private than expected. The sliding screen doors and full windows on both the bedroom and living area made the space feel so open and breezy. The space was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable and had the feel of a hotel bed with nice clean linens and lots of pillows. Natalie was great with communication and gave us clear instructions. She was super friendly and was available anytime we had questions. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb for anyone who is considering it!

One of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever stayed at. Matt is great to deal with. The cottage was awesome and Dave the neighbour is super helpful and nice. Don’t be scared of river crossing it was smooth and seamless and made everything even more fun. Matt is a good guy and helpful with anything that comes up. The property is full of hiking trails and has awesome water access, great fishing, beautiful spot for a coffee in the morning. The deck is perfect for watching the sunset and the screen room is a great getaway if a little rain rolls through. All in all I’m extremely pleased with my stay in all aspects. Highly recommend.

This place is perfect gateway from city life . Lots of things to do around if you love walking/ hiking . There beautiful trails and water dams and the view with a beautiful bird chirping in the morning with great misty … it’s so beautiful .. you get to see lots of animals as well.definitely would recommend this place …

We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with family at the cottage. Cozy, clean and everything we needed! Gorgeous and peaceful lake views and nice walking around the area. Playground nearby for the little kids and big kids too. Would recommend.

Me and my friends had a great experience at the Long House, the pictures do not do it enough justice, it is beautiful. Everything was close proximity to the cottage and the hosts were very kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Would love to come here again
