James was an amazing host — super easy to reach and crystal clear with communication. His place felt like stepping into a dream. Every little detail around the house sparked memories of childhood. The backyard was pure magic — the stream was beautiful, and my kids had a blast running around and tossing sticks into the water. The fully stocked pantry was a total lifesaver. The beds were insanely comfortable — I slept like a rock. And the karaoke setup? It made the whole stay next-level fun. We had such a great time with ample space to relax and/or to play family activities! Scenic location! Also a great location to get to and from other destinations! ie Legoland, American Dream Mall etc. !!

Great Communication from staff. Gave great recommendation and the house was very cozy and clean. Many things to do nearby and I would recommend this for a party up to 10. I would definitely recommend this to friends and come back in the future for another hike!!!

We stayed a week in Daniel’s home. The home was super clean and had large spaces great for visiting. We most enjoyed listening to the river in the morning while sipping on our coffee. We really also enjoyed warm fires in the wood stove each evening. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the house was thoughtfully stocked of everything you could need for your visit. We hope to come back and visit again.

My husband and I stayed for two nights with our dog. The location is so quiet and serene. The lake is beautiful and we saw and heard a lot of wildlife including multiple bald eagles. The cabin had everything we needed and was a clean, comfortable and cozy space. We loved the deck, jacuzzi and firepit area too. We would love to come back!

Clean and nicely laid out home to stay. Plenty of space for our group of 7 adults. Overall a nice, quiet place to stay at. Israel is also a very responsive host, any issues we had were addressed promptly.

The cabin was beautiful and well equipped! Plenty of towel and toiletries and a lovely kitchen (there was even coffee and spices on hand.)The star is the downstairs bar room - features a huge bar, complete with a wash sink, fridge and ice machine - just around the corner is a movie room with six actual movie seats, a great place for a film or to play some Nintendo!

I’ve stayed at many Airbnb’s over the years. Not all reserved by myself. However, this is definitely in the top of the cleanest ones I’ve stayed at. That’s really important to me. I know things get missed sometimes, but I don’t want to see a strand of hair in the fridge I’m putting my food in or in the shower I’m washing my body in. Sometimes it’s inevitable and easily missed. But just a little more attention to detail eliminates that slight miss. Speaking of attention to detail, Lisa truly made me feel special when I walked in the door to a personalized note on the kitchen counter w/coffee and a snack. That type of attention to detail goes a long way with me. Just a simple thoughtful gesture. It’s the little things that are important! Also during our stay, Lisa remained in communication with me with any questions I had. It was an awesome stay with some preteens and a toddler. The teens enjoyed the game room while the toddler enjoyed the mini kitchen perfect for her size. Thank you!!

Vincenzo’s place was amazing! We stayed with 2 families and 3 small children and everyone was comfortable and had tons of space. The property was beautiful and there are so many amazing hikes close by. I highly recommend staying here!

I booked this property as a kind of ad hoc writing retreat. It was the perfect location to complete what work I needed to do. A quick drive into Sparta for restaurants and supplies also made this a great location.

Our family of four had a wonderful winter weekend at Erma’s house. The house was comfortable, even during a winter storm. Erma made sure to have the driveway plowed, so we could still enjoy a day of skiing. And the sunset views were beautiful! We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location! There are various choices for hiking, including several Appalachian trails! We went on Stairs to Heaven, that was 7 min by car from the house. The house itself immediately felt like home. Design was amazing with beautiful combination of colors, furniture and wooden walls. You can find everything you need for comfortable life there. We went to celebrate my birthday and it was the greatest experience we had with renting a house! Special thanks to the host! Immediate responses for all questions that we had! And of course lake view directly from your window. Our soul and mind had beautiful rest here. We will surely return here! ❤️❤️❤️

Excellent stay for a small group - we only stayed for a weekend, but would be a perfect spot for a weeklong trip as well.

Wonderful little cabin with a beautiful view! Needed a place to stay while my house was having work done on it...the porch was perfect as a temporary office, bedroom was nice and dark- I slept like a log! Best touch was Michele's homemade jam!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Stephen & Rudy's zen Cabin, it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived to see the breathtaking waterfall outside through our entire stay, all details were thoughtfully looked after. The house was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail throughout the home, such as the high-quality kitchen and the cozy fireplace. While the home was perfectly on point, it was the communication with Stephen himself that went above and beyond. We actually live one town over and were having work done at our house, therefore in need of a home away from home for several nights. Stephen was extremely responsive and even checked in to see how our house-work was going. We will definitely be back (for a staycation)!!

We had a relaxing stay here. The view was lovely and house was exactly as described. The hosts were very responsive too.

A quiet and peaceful place to spend a weekend. Simple setup that worked for a quick trip out of the city. We took advantage of the bonfire and provided firewood which was very fun. The breakfast from Roksana was beautifully made and tasted great!

Carrie was very attentive and concerned about giving me the best instructions to make me feel at home. I didn't struggle to check-in and get settled. What ever question or concern I had she would answer me quickly and kindly. I recommend this beautiful place that will make you feel welcome and at home. Thank you for being an amazing host and being extremely caring, and sweet.

Great place to stay. Very peaceful and friendly. The fact that a could bring my dogs allow us to feel like home. Ted and Cynthia were very nice and very communicative and responsive

The cabin is perfect for those autumn weekend getaways. We were impressed by how beautiful the cabin is and how close it is to all of the fun, restaurants and beautiful views we wanted. Our only recommendation would be having additional privacy in the living room, as the curtains are see through. Stan is a great host, very responsive, super helpful. Overall, we had a great stay and will consider the Honk Hideaway when we are back in town.

Amy and Kevin were absolutely wonderful! It was so nice to get out of the city and stay in such a beautiful cabin. It has a rustic feel while having all of the amenities and conveniences that you are looking for. Amy and Kevin are also such wonderful people they made sure that the trip was easy and fun and responded immediately anytime I had a question. The area was private but also close to a bunch of great restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!
