Gorgeous little house with cap cod feel, right on the water. We call this baby "Water's Edge on Tainter Lake". Perfect way for a quick escape from the Twin cities, only 50 minutes away. Fish off the permanent dock on the water. Beautiful views and sunsets on a fun, active recreational lake. Short boat ride to Jake's super club. Some guests say its a "private location", but we are on a very active lake with houses close by. Please read our "other details to note" for more info.

Nordlys Lodging Co. - MetalLark Tower

Perched high among the trees with breathtaking views of the hidden lake and wildflower meadows, MetalLark Tower is the perfect getaway. This two-story, 800 sq.ft. cabin has one king bed, one hide-away bunk bed, and one bathroom. We put the living area high up on the second floor to give our guests a bird’s eye view. Has 1 bedroom with Queen bed; If you need more rooms we have 2 additional rustic cabins (air, heat-no bathroom) that are available for additional $50/ cabin/night. The best nature has to offer, bring your camera!

PoCo Cabin

Relax with your special someone, or the whole family at this lakefront cabin. Sit on the deck to hear the loons and enjoy the "best view on the lake" according to the neighbors. All new furniture and appliances are sure to have you comfortable as can be. Turn on the gas fireplace if you need to take the chill off, or just for some ambiance as you nestle into the couch for a movie. The couch opens to a comfortable bed for more personal space if needed.
