Beautiful country farmhouse situated down a 250m private drive on the outskirts of the village of Tansley. On the hillside below Riber Castle the property is surrounded by horse pastures and farmland. There are stunning views from every window. The house has been completely renovated with the input of an interior architect to an extremely high standard. Many of the original Victorian features have been retained and stylishly combined with a super modern kitchen and bathrooms.

Hazel Lodge luxury log cabin

Hazel Lodge is new to Sam’s Derbyshire cottage. This beautiful lodge is set on a working farm between south wingfield and crich. The lodge has 2 bedrooms 1 double and twin rooms, the bathroom is spacious with a shower over the bath. The open plan living kitchen and dinning area is great for entertaining with a 40” smart tv. The hot tub is very private with looks down the valley great for star gazing! There is a big decking area with table and chairs for long nights sat outside.

It is on the edge of the Peak District with many local attractions, such as Chatsworth and Hardwick Hall.

Crich is a perfect base to explore the Peak District and local attractions.

The Old Mill and Cottage - Good Central Base

The Old Mill and Cottage in Holloway Matlock Derbyshire provide self-catering accommodation with excellent views of Derwent Valley. The Old Mill featured many characters, with an old beamed ceiling, an old spiral staircase and a tower. It offers 5 bedrooms which accommodate 12/15 people. The 4 bedrooms are situated at The Old Mill and the 5th bedroom is at the Cottage with a separate entrance. Near to the Tourist Attraction

The Forge @ Alderwasley

This carefully renovated forge is perfect for a break in the beautiful southern borders of the Peak District National Park. Fabulously converted, this cottage offers an open plan living space with a cosy wood burner, and wonderful views over the open countryside. Upstairs you will find a double bedroom en-suite with a contemporary bathroom offering a shower/bath to soak in after a busy day in the Peaks.

The cottage is located in what us locals call the 'town end' and the prime location to enjoy walks and everything that the village has to offer. Having been our home for many years, before moving on to start our family, we hope that you enjoy your stay in our little cottage as much as we did living here.
