Fishmeister Lodge

This modern guesthouse with a 5 metre stud has a large mezzanine bedroom with a super king bed and two singles, open plan living/dining/kitchen area with extensive decks and concrete floors throughout. There is an outdoor hot spa, an indoor fireplace and indoor/outdoor dining areas, set on a 1 acre property. 2 minutes drive to market, restaurants and takeaways, including the iconic Mangawhai Tavern. 10-15 minutes drive to your choice of white-sand surf beaches and world class golf courses.

Garden Hill Cottage, Maungatapere

Away from the hustle bustle, enjoy this quiet serene spot. The property is well off the highway and the neighbouring orchards screen us from traffic noise. The cottage is nestled between small avocado and mixed fruit orchards, with a view out to the small pond and post’n’rail fenced paddocks beyond. Absolute water front with panoramic ocean views and access to the beach below for fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, exploring, or just sitting on the sand. Enjoy all day sun from the ocean facing decks and then retire to the courtyard in the evening for a BBQ while sitting in front of an open wood fire. Tutukaka's finest restaurants and bars only a 3 minute drive away

The Annex - self contained unit .

The Annex is on a small farmlet, 6 km south of Whangarei, with harbour views. It was a sleepout, built in the 1980's, separate, but next to the main house. It has two bedrooms. There is a double bed and two singles plus a day bed in the living area. The living/ dining area, has a wood fire. There is a small shower room and separate toilet. It is situated about 100 mtr off SH1, so there can be road noise. There are no streetlights and it can be very dark if you arrive after sundown.

The Yurt Wai Rua

The Yurt at Wai Rua, west of Whangarei, is approximately 20 minutes drive from Kamo via Pipiwai Road. It is set in a beautiful tranquil farmland area beside a small lake, which is surrounded by native trees. Watch the native birds, ducks and pukekos whilst sitting on the deck. It has amazing rural views, including massive volcanic rocks. The yurt has a separate kitchen, with a small fridge and gas oven and 2hob burners. The bathroom has a hot water shower and composting toilet.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

A lovely fully equipped modern cottage in a rural setting on the beautiful Kaipara Harbour (only 90 mins north of Auckland). Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.
