It’s an amazing airbnb, very clean, great interior, the surroundings are tropical and the view from the location is insane! Highly advise this airbnb to everyone when visiting Padang. The location itself is on a hill, but that makes it so special. Because it’s 200 m above sea-level you don’t need an AC which is very convenient for sleeping. And then as well the staff is so so so kind! Very carrying and making sure you are having a good time. There is also an option the get a ‘homemade’ dinner prepared with many options on a menu, we did that the first day and we felt immidiately at home. Overall, we loved it!!!

My stay at Ricky’s was great! After a long day and a long drive there that ended a bit stressful, when I arrived at Ricky’s they immediately knew me by name and got me dinner. The place is more like a hostel, with community meals, jam sessions around a fire at night, and a club like area that I could tell probably had some amazing parties, but there weren’t many people there when I was staying. There’s amazing snorkeling right on site, with the chance to see some beautiful sea turtles. They also have a turtle hatchery, which was so cool! I got to help feed the baby turtles and clean their little shells! If you’re looking for a a chill and relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by beauty, Ricky’s is for you! The only negative, which would only be a negative for some. Is that they do play live music pretty late at night which can be heard from the bungalows, and as I said, I can tell they probably have some pretty fun parties there during the peak season.

There aren't the words to describe how lovely and enjoyable our stay was at Pinilok. It was everything we hoped for and more. If you are looking for the best, most private place to stay on Sipura this is it. Unlike all the resorts nearby, you have your beach all to yourself!! The only humans we saw on our visit were all the lovely fellas who took care of us on the property and some local fishermen walking down the beach. Access to waves is spot on. Food is amazing. Anton will feed you the BEST fresh fish while Tirti can show you the best waves, snorkel spots, beaches, etc. We were missing our doggos so it was such a treat to have a brood of dogs on the property. If you are looking for a place that embodies the Mentawais, this is it. I wish we could keep the spot to ourselves but this is the place to go! Absolutely recommend and cannot wait to return.

Nice calm and peaceful place in the middle of the jungles. We enjoyed nature around and all nice nature sounds. 5 minutes walking to the beach. The house is big. The bathroom is comfortable and well maintained. There is a big terrace to enjoy nature while reading. The food was delicious: fresh wish, fruits and vegetables. And fresh coconuts - a nice surprise. Tirti and Once brought us to beautiful snorkeling places. If you are looking for a private, calm spot on Sipora island (with no tourists) Spencer’s place is a perfect one. It’s also a perfect spot for surfing. We are not surfers but enjoyed the view on one of the best wave for surfers. All the team is very friendly and helpful! We didn’t have a connection in the house but you can have it on the beach.

Todo perfecto. Sin duda la mejor estadía calidad precio en toda la isla. Muy buena ubicación a 2 min de ebay y 8 de pistop. Volvería.

Super séjour dans cette maison traditionnelle, propre et spacieuse. Très bien située et facile à trouver. Eau chaude disponible. Peut être un peu chaud en pleine journée.

Superbe adresse sur le lac Maninjau, emplacement de rêve, les pieds dans l’eau. Nous avons été reçus très chaleureusement par Eka et sa famille. Eka est exceptionnel pour sa gentillesse et son désir de rendre service, il est venu nous chercher à Parapat avec un ami à lui, ils ont fait l’aller/retour en 2 jours (16H30) de voyage à chaque parcours et ils ont été très prudents. Eka nous a aussi accompagné pour la prolongation de notre visa à l’immigration de Bukittinggi, ce n’était pas très simple, heureusement qu’il était là ! Il nous a conduit à Pallupuh afin que nous puissions voir une rafflésia en fleur. Le scooter qu’il nous a loué était de très bonne qualité ainsi, nous avons pu découvrir les environs de ce lac magnifique et sauvage, une belle étape dans un superbe environnement, ne pas manquer de passer chez Eka, nous n’avons qu’un souhait, c’est pouvoir y revenir au plus vite !!!
