We had a wonderful winter cottage stay. The place is very cozy, well equipped with everything you would ever need. Incredible clean and organized. Comfortable beds and a great property. The hosts are very kind and responsive. 100% would recommend!

Christina’s place was a little slice of heaven! I stayed for a month and loved going swimming during the beautiful sunrises, enjoying the peaceful dock and relaxing. Also, as a mushroom enthusiast, this property had so many lovely sights - even a shrimp of the woods bloom at the end of my stay. Christina was so lovely and accommodating and really helped me feel safe and welcome. My cats loved the windows and bright open space. Would recommend this stay to anyone :)

Ali’s place was a perfect spot for a winter weekend getaway. Beautiful cabin in a great location, close to ski trails and ice fishing. The place is well stocked and Ali was very helpful with communication. Would absolutely stay here again.

Patricia was a helpful host, very friendly and accommodating. Her place was peaceful, had a beautiful lake view. It was cute, cozy with rustic vibes. It was clean, organized, and had everything we needed. Also, the location is close to Screaming Heads and different hiking trails perfect for seeing the autumn foliage.

A beautiful, well curated space with thoughtful details, and everything you need to have a great time! Joanne was friendly, super responsive and accommodating! Her cottage provided the perfect overnight getaway for me and a couple of my best friends! We enjoyed the paddle boards, fire pit, beautiful deck with a gazebo, and spacious interior! My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! The drive in is a dirt road, so take your time (enjoy because it's a beautiful ride!) and be mindful of the bumps. Don't think twice about staying in the gorgeous space!

We absolutely loved the property. The location was beautiful and the property was very comfortable with great amenities. Even though the weather was terrible, we still greatly enjoyed ourselves. And the host was amazing as well. They were very accommodating and communicative. They proactively offered us extra time for checking out due to the bad weather, which we greatly appreciated.

Bowhey’s is such a special place. All the amenities, clean cabins, staff is always busy working on something to make it even more beautiful. Ian is so great and laid back. Saturday night karaoke should not be missed! We will definitely be back.

Ian is a great host very friendly and professional. Amenities are well kept from the swimming pool to the fish cleaning hut, you can buy even premium gas for your boat and enjoy a Saturday evening karaoke. Definitely we will come back again.

My first time experiencing cottage life. Ian and his family are good hosts. My children loved Ian. This resort felt very safe. The people that were there were very kind and friendly. it was not overwhelming, it was just right. You do have to bring your own pillows and linen. My suggestion, bring a fan. keep you cool at night. There is hot water. Karaoke night was a lot of fun. no judgement. Ian has a big variety of music. If you are coming from the GTA, you are looking at about 5 to 6 hours of travel time depending on traffic. We didn't get to do the trails because our kids wanted to swim in the pool all day. However, there are trails around the area. Canoeing was a lot of fun and the paddle boards were a challenge but a lot of fun too. There is fire wood present for you to use if you want to make a bonfire. There is a convenience store down the street. They sell essential groceries, beer, liquor, first aid and hot food. Some of his cabins have a really good view of the lake.

My family and I had a nice cozy experience staying on Ian's yacht. We relished the lake views, the dock, the stars, and the sunset, as well as the opportunity to cast our fishing line directly off the bow.

My 5-year-old daughter and I were on a road trip and we booked this very last minute. it was definitely the highlight of the trip and wish we would have stayed a couple of extra days. the water was beautiful in the evening with the sunset.

Ian's place is as described. His boat is clean, and the resort is well organized. He is one of the few hosts that is actually on-site, to help with anything needed; he is also very accommodating and easy-going. I didn't think there was actually going to be a karaoke night, as it had been described in the other reviews, but there was one. The whole area is conducive to a relaxed state of mind. my son and I enjoyed staying here and will very likely come back for some good fishing. Yes, we caught fish too, which was a plus.

Carole's waterfront Bunkie was beautiful and exactly how described. They were very responsive and helped us with anything we needed. We would definitely return again!

Went with my wife and I and five kids. We had a perfect week of weather in September and after the first day on the beach, my kids were saying this was our best cottage ever! Looking out at our children on the beach from the big windows on the cottage, the place took on an almost magical quality. We had to drag our kids from the water every day. Lots of toys, games, life jackets, boats outside and fully stocked in the cottage. And the setting with all the islands out front is a classic Muskoka look, without all the business of that area. The location was perfect with stunning lake views and a peaceful atmosphere. The cottage itself was immaculate – cozy yet spacious, with all the modern amenities you could ask for, while still maintaining that charming, rustic feel. The hosts have ensured that you have fun activities for everyone staying at the place. There were Kayaks, Canoe and a motorboat, Firepit with ample firewood, Outdoor BBQ grill, Indoor games, Books, DVD player with lots of classic and popular movies and many more things. Shout out to the Super Hosts Wes and Jana for taking care of the place and guests with smallest requests. They were very responsive and would immediately come up for any help whenever needed, ensuring our stay was comfortable. They would even ask us if we needed anything from the market (like Milk, Coffee, etc) whenever they went out for their work. This was super sweet!! Highly recommend this place to anyone and would definitely love to visit back in the future!!

We had a great time. Would love to come back in summer to enjoy the lake! Everything was very comfortable and relaxing.

We spent two nights at the cottage and that was awesome. Angela made it very simple with clear information about dos and don't. Available outdoor activities are great and even enjoyed lighting the firepit. I would definitely rent again and highly recommend Angela 's cottage as it is found in very quiet and peaceful place. The Lakehouse was amazing me and my colleagues really enjoyed the house and especially the lake …omg just wow … really planning to come here with family. Best place to come and chill after work … This place took our whole tension out

Staying in the house boat at Pine Falls Lodge is an unforgettable experience. Surrounded by the most beautiful nature we were able to calm down, enjoy the sauna and the cold water, do hikes and kayaking. Additionally Patrick and Amy were the most welcoming hosts. Thank you very much!

Amber and her husband were great hosts! The cabin is absolutely beautiful and they left some great local recommendations( the wagon wheel restaurant was amazing and I would highly recommend), my husband and I went up for a week as our honeymoon and they went the extra mile to make it special for us! At the end of the week we ended up having major vehicle issues leaving us stuck and they were super helpful and understanding, Kyle even came out with a generator and battery charger after multiple caa cancellations. Can’t say enough good things about the hosts or the cabin itself. Would love to be back again!
