Highland Hideaway

Enjoy a tranquil stay on our working farm. You can sit on the front porch and watch the Scottish Highland cows and mini donkeys. A peaceful setting not far from Pittsburgh, several wedding venues and Star Lake Pavilion. Just note, we are a working farm so at times there will be machinery noise, tours happening, farm smells and animals noise that comes with it. If you stay with us during tour days; you are more than welcome to join in for free!

"Ginseng House" - Our premiere off-grid tiny house! A hand-crafted work of art using our own sawmill lumber. Beautiful wooded setting surrounded by 180 acres of private land and two miles of beautiful Buffalo Creek frontage to enjoy. One very comfortable queen bed in the loft and a fold out double bed love seat on the main floor. Extra guests may pitch tents for $10/night/person. Pets welcome - $35/pet - see pet policy.

Bower: a pleasant shady place under trees Welcome to The Bower! This newly remodeled authentic log home with a gas fireplace is the epitome of cozy! Panoramic views can be enjoyed in the morning while perching on a large front porch enjoying a hot cup of coffee or tea, to a late evening of serenity while sipping a glass of wine with the feathered tenants of the season.

The Loft

The Loft is located on our homestead, which was a fruit farm. The Loft is a three bedroom apartment set above a storage garage. There is a beautiful picnic area with a fire pit and plenty of room to relax. We hope you will have a pleasant stay at the Loft. You will find it fully furnished and ready for a "home away from home"
