Lothian Occidentale: soggiorni in baite

Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at the Lodge. Our host Jaqcui was so friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. We found the place to be immaculately clean but also cosy and homely feel. Hot tub was spotless with a great view! Would love to return at some point!

Booked an extremely last minute stay for me and my little one, the host responded within minutes and was extremely accommodating. The place itself was lovely and exactly like the photos. Perfect little getaway. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay if you don’t want to stay in the city. Easy park and ride into Edinburgh. The surroundings are stunning, a great place to wake up to! There were plenty of walks but we didn’t end up doing any of them as we had walked for hours in Edinburgh and couldn’t face anymore hilly walks!

What a beautiful place to stay in the middle of the hills nice and quiet and the hot tub was a family favourite thanks to Alexander and all his family for making us so welcome 5 stars

My partner and I stayed here for a weekend and absolutely loved it. Great communication and directions to the property from the hosts. The location was beautiful and very private and the lodge itself was immaculately clean and had every appliance/kitchenware you could need. The hot tub and the fire pit were great additions to the stay. Cant recommend highly enough, we would definitely stay here again!

Had a brilliant stay in the Myreton pod. It’s exactly as described and the views of the hills are absolutely stunning! Even in the rain the hot tub was nice and cozy. The pod feels really homely, it’s private and hosts were flexible with check in time or always just a quick message away to answer any questions. Close proximity to loads of great places, including knockhill, Stirling, Dunfermline, Blairdrummond safari etc. There’s a list of recommendations on informations cards inside the pod which was so helpful as we ate out at one of the recommended restaurants and it was brilliant! Overall, loved our stay, such a great wee place and will definitely be back! Thank you to the hosts😊

Fantastic cabin in great location for exploring the Borders region.The cabin is lovely, equipped with everything needed and there were even a few goodies on arrival too. Hot tub was wonderful in the Scottish summer. We couldnt recommend Castlehill enough to anyone wanting a top end stay in beautiful surroundings.

Had a wonderful stay here. Stunning location and good weather was an added bonus. The hot tub made it extra special and it was within easy reach of local attractions. The Pod was clean, tidy and had everything required for a comfortable break. Would highly recommend.

Had a lovely over night in the pod , Kevin and his partner were very welcoming. Pod was cosy , private and the hot tub was great. Exactly what we needed, will definitely be back and recommending to friends.

Great location, quiet and convenient for Edinburgh.

Just returned from a two night stay in woodland lodge 3 for Hogmanay with my family and we had the best time. The lodge was amazing. Home from home, it was cosy, loved the Christmas tree being up and the lights from the fire made a perfect t Hogmanay ambience. Really clean modern and spacious. Even although I think I packed the kitchen sink I really didn’t need to, we were provided everything from cloths and washing up liquid to black bags, extra toilet paper, salt and pepper etc which was great. And on the table for us arriving was a box of roses and Prosecco which was a lovely touch we really appreciated that. I would love to return in the summer to make use of the outdoor space and furniture as that looked great. Thanks very much

We stayed 5 nights and time flew by. Beautifully designed cabin that has everything you need. Very calm area and cute villages to explore in the surroundings. Close enough to also visit Edinburg by car or train. Thank you for the wonderful experience! :)

We had a wonderful stay at Lotte’s cabin. It was exactly as the description, yet even more tranquil than we’d imagined. The cabin is beautifully designed, spacious, and the view from the picture window is incredible. It’s a location we felt honoured to be able to spend a few nights in. With friendly horses as neighbours and waking up to birdsong. We enjoyed the wood-fired hot tub both nights, and had such good weather we could sit out on the deck for dinner one night. A friendly Robin joined us too! Lotte was friendly and helpful via message during our stay. Highly recommend!

Our stay was perfect for our two dogs, really quiet location and had lots of space to play outside. Really comfortable stay for us too, would 100% stay again and highly recommend to others!

My husband and I stayed in this charming little place for the second leg of our honeymoon. The surrounding area was beautiful, we loved the local restaurants and the backyard was like a fairytale. It’s also right next to the Trinity Path which is a gorgeous way to walk into the middle of Edinburgh. Charlie and Melanie were both so sweet to us during our stay. The only thing I’ll say is it’s a little difficult to move around the space while also living out of two suitcases. If you position everything right though, you can manage and it will be your cute little oasis in Leith, Edinburgh. Highly recommend for a truly one of a kind stay.

The host was quick to respond and very helpful. Very clean, nice selection of treats and I slept very good. The hot tub was amazing!

Lovely cabin in beautiful scenery, an absolutely perfect get away. Had everything you need and more. Would highly recommend!!

We had 3 nights in Lomond 5 with our two dogs. It was comfortable and peaceful and provided all we needed for our little break. Would love to be able to go back soon

Beautiful, clean pods in a peaceful environment. Margot was welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend. Great walks next to the river tweed, walking distance to town centre or a short drive.

We had a lovely experience at Yellowscott. The cabins are exceptionally clean, it was well stocked and the hut tub was just amazing. It was so quiet, perfect place to chill for a few days.

We loved our stay at Margot’s place! Absolutely beautiful surroundings and such a cute little pod. Margot was very helpful and welcoming and we would recommend this spot to anyone we know!

Donald’s place was fantastic, everything exactly as pictured,he was very responsive and answered all questions I had in due time. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again! Thanks again Donald.

I loved everything about this place - the term glamping pod doesn't do it justice! Its so pristine and perfect location to Edinburgh for the Fringe too. Elizabeth allowed me to check in a bit earlier too which was super helpful. Not sure where else I'd get all that and wake up to cows grazing on the fields 😀
