West Launceston: alloggi vacanze con colazione

This was by far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in (and I’ve stayed in a lot)! This charming little purple cottage (with purple flower touches!) felt like home from the moment we walked in. It had so much charm and character - converted fireplaces in almost every room, beautiful polished timber floorboards, chandeliers, plants and every creature comfort you could imagine (the most comfy beds, heated floors and towel rack in bathroom, divine double oven, games, the works!). There was also a gorgeous backyard with entertaining areas and the location was a short walk to Charles St cafes, Coles and the city. But what truly sets this place apart is the host Karen. Her communication from the get go was second to none and we couldn’t have asked for more with what she left us for our stay - fresh bread, wine, breakfast provisions, treats. She truly went above and beyond and ensured my mum (who doesn’t travel much) and my sister and I had the best holiday! Would return back in a heartbeat!

Very comfortable stay in Riverside, which was a good launch pad to explore greater Launceston and the Tamar Valley. Melissa had a lot of ideas and recommendations for activities which were helpful, and she also had an extensive folder of local information in the unit for guests to browse. Melissa and her family were very friendly and made me feel at home. Great for a solo traveler or a couple.

Kaye and family was welcoming and we had a really enjoyable stay! The place was clean and cosy with ample outdoor fenced yard for our doggo to run around in.

The Black House felt like a home away from home. Had everything you could possibly need for a long stay. Very attentive/helpful host. The interior design was impeccable and very modern. 10/10 would recommend.

Staying here was like stepping back in time! This charming antique Airbnb was full of history, beautifully preserved, and filled with character. Every detail told a story, making the experience truly unique. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, adding to the magic of the stay. If you love history and a cozy, nostalgic atmosphere, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend!

This was one of the most memorable Airbnb experiences I’ve had in Australia. From the moment we stepped into the home, we were blown away by the bright, open-plan design that perfectly reflects the Australian lifestyle. The spacious living room, dining area, and master bedroom are all framed by large floor-to-ceiling windows that open up to a serene view of sand dunes and the ocean – simply stunning. What made this stay extra special was the warm hospitality. It was the first time I’ve been personally welcomed by a host in Australia, and it made all the difference. We were greeted with a bottle of welcome champagne, handmade chocolates, freshly baked bread, eggs, milk, coffee, ice cream, and even beer – opening the fridge felt like arriving at a dear friend’s home, not just a rental.

My wife and I have made this great home our go to place when we come to Launceston. After repeat visits we know that everything will be beautifully set up, clean, peaceful and conveniently situated to the City. Maryann is a great host.

Our bridal party had such a beautiful couple of days here. The host went above and beyond with all the small details. Super fast at responding to my questions, made lovely local recommendations and messaged me as soon as the room was ready. Can’t recommend enough - we’ll be back!

Our stay was fantastic. Great spot to stay for a couple of nights while doing things in Launceston. Very central. The breakfast was an added bonus and was just what we needed:)

L’appartement est magnifique. Beaucoup plus spacieux et confortable que je ne l’imaginais.( mieux que sur les photos) Nous avons apprécié d’avoir de quoi se préparer un petit déjeuner . Nous avons eu la chance de voir Roselyn et d’échanger un peu avec elle. C’est une hôtesse parfaite, très accueillante et conviviale.

My best airbnb experience to date. Keryn and Andrew were the most incredible hosts. Communication was amazing and super flexible when our flight times were changed, not to mention the thoughtful extra bits and pieces that made our stay even easier. The accommodation was in an absolutely perfect location, walking distance to everything in town and right across the road from a beautiful park. Nice and quite and had everything you could possibly think of needing. Can't recommend this enough, super lucky to find it.

We had a wonderful stay at Susan’s BnB. She had left a fresh home baked artisan loaf of delicious bread for us. Breakfast was provided with nice muesli, amazing jams, quality butter and milk. It’s minutes from the Launceston Airport, easy to find and very peaceful.

The Madiba apartment is a gem in the Launceston CBD. Spacious, airy and light, it is very generous accommodation for a couple. It has absolutely everything you need and is tastefully done with a couch that will live long in the memory. Just a stone's throw from the fantastic Harvest Market, it is walkable to everything the town has to offer.

My kids love this place, very tight n clean with lots of kidstuff. Highly recommended

Beautiful quiet location overlooking the Tamar River, yet close to everything. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. Lovely modern decor, spotless and everything we needed. Extensive continental breakfast supplied for our 2 night stay. Welcoming port and chocolates appreciated. Information booklet very helpful. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Launceston and its surrounds.

our stay was great, had an awesome view so close to shops etc. joy was great at communication and was very clean!

What a very special, gorgeous cottage to stay in. Julie and Gary have done everything meticulously as they have lovingly restored the stable. There are special little touches everywhere - beautiful linen on the comfortable bed, the fire laid ready to be lit, underfloor heating, warm towels, home made apricot jam and quince jelly along with sourdough bread, cheese and wine. The breakfast goodies in the fridge were yummy. Nothing has been overlooked. It was such a joy to walk in the garden and have Julie show us around. The cottage is in a great location to check out the Tamar Valley and local area. Communication leading up to our stay was really great. Thank you Julie and Gary for being such wonderful and welcoming hosts and for your kindness in letting us share your special cottage.

It all started when you called out at us while we were unpacking our car, “are you the two vegans?”. We knew then and there that we are home! We genuinely appreciate the clean room, labelled everything (felt like heaven) and the most delicious, yummy and healthy vegan dinner you fed us. Wish we stayed here longer. Thankyou for having us! Eliza was very kind and friendly. The room was so clean pretty cosy and beautiful with overlooking the garden. Adorable welcoming doggies 🐕 Really loved my stay in this room.

Deloraine is such a beautiful town and has so much to explore. The accommodation was perfect and the hot tub was Devine after a long hike. Highlights of eateries are Frank and Lotti, the Empire hotel and The espresso coffee shop. The truffle farm is worth a visit and there are many great short and longer hikes to explore. I would recommend Eco lodge to all couples. Thank you to Emily.

Julie’s place is cozy and clean with beautiful decor that makes it feel warm and welcoming. The snacks and breakfast really set the bar high for Bnbs and made our stay even more enjoyable. It’s clear that a lot of care went into the space with so many thoughtful details that didn’t go unnoticed. We really appreciated the lovely stay here for our last night in Tassie :)

Beverley's place was the perfect location to the airport. Clean, super comfortable bed and provisions for breakfast were great. 100% recommend.

We enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay. My review echoes many of those before me.. we wanted for nothing. Talia is a wonderful host and offered us flexibility around check in and out times which was really appreciated! Bath was divine and the daily visit by all the chickens very entertaining. A most lovely stay and highly recommend!

Our 2nd stay and Magnolia Cottage is one of our absolute favourite Airbnb's. Debbie welcomes you like Family; Magnolia Cottage wraps around you and the Gifts of cake and chocolates are so very welcome for weary travellers.
