Southern Pacific Caboose at the Iron Horse Inn

This 1964 bay window steel caboose car features queen bed, private bath with jetted Jacuzzi tub, sitting room with table and chairs, A/C, and back deck near the creek. It also has a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. We serve a continental breakfast inside the Inn, so please book the correct number of guests as we cook breakfast according to the number of guests in each room. Our cabooses are pet friendly with a 25.00 per stay. Caboose has a coffee maker, microwave & mini fridge.

Perched up on the cliff, over-looking the Fraser River, our luxury train caboose is surrounded by a rhododendron forest. Conveniently located on highway #7, we are easily accessible and at the door step of endless outdoor adventures. We have our own private hiking trails that wind up the mountain side, crossing creeks, waterfalls and passing many varietals of rhododendrons amongst the lush, natural forest. Our little caboose seems to have escaped the Kettle Valley Rail Line; offering a slice of peaceful, mountain retreat. The passengers whistle with pleasure as they rest in the queen size luxury bed. Tucked away amongst the rocks, pines and burbling creek; the cute woodstove brings it together as a cozy place for dreaming. Restored 1909 Train Carriage on 145 Acres

Stay in a restored 1909 train car, with a sauna and hot tub. Set amid forest and wheat fields with beautiful views. Spectacular night skies and lots of solitude round out the experience. This car ran on the Washington Idaho & Montana Railway from 1909 until around 1955. It was, (and is), car number 306, bought new from the American Car and Foundry Co.
