Secluded Off-Grid Mountain Cottage

Private stand-alone cottage on a beautiful farm 1.5 hours north of Cape town and 30-40 minutes from Elands Bay. This is a very simple, off-grid, self-catering cottage with beautiful mountain views, a dam to swim in and hiking access to the entire 2000 hectare farm. The farm has established hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on request and established sport and trad rock climbing routes. The cottage has two fireplaces, a gas stove, fridge, a 'donkey' water heater and solar power.

The camp was built with 100% recycled materials and is equipped with 12 volt solar lighting system, WIFI, USB port and on demand gas geyser. There are no plugins for electrical appliances. Klipkop High Mountain Stone Cottage

The farm's fourth cottage is built of rock between two boulders. The interior is very comfortably furnished with ceder-clad walls and ceder floors, two comfortable 3/4 beds, a fireplace, kitchenette and a bathroom clad in rock with sliding doors opening onto the landscape. The cottage faces north with a view of Sneeuberg. There is a large sliding door opening onto the patio with a retractable awning and a braai to enjoy the extraordinary views in every direction.

A cosy & pretty self-catering unit nestled privately at the back of the farm. This cottage has a king size bed, lounge and well-equipped kitchen with a walk-in closet. The private garden has BBQ facilities and a hanging day bed perfect for afternoon naps. There is also a splash pool. Well behaved pets are welcome. 1 pet @R100 per pet.

Ideal for 2, this off-grid eco pod has a bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite shower, as well as an outdoor shower. high-speed Wi-Fi and a comfortable workspace is also available. The kitchen contains a 2-plate gas stove, opening to a patio with braai facilities, pizza oven and a wood-fired hot tub.
