West Athens Regional Unit: soggiorni in pensioni

We had a really special stay! Pretty rooms and lovely to be able to sit out on the balcony and have such close access to the sea. Also took us no time at all to walk to nearby restaurants and the Moni island ferry, with a lovely bakery for coffee/breakfast even closer. Certainly recommend!

Ilioperato is run by the most fabulous host, Rena! The location is incredible and having hired a car and travelled the island, it’s easy to say that the accommodation is the most authentic on the island. Restaurants, supermarkets and bars are no more that a 5 minute walk away and all serve great food. The hotel is located down a quiet street and boasts a large salt water pool and private access to the sea (very quiet and clear water). The rooms are very clean and come with a modern bathroom, small kitchen area for basic cooking and a tv. The rooms are also air conditioned and have shutters plus a great balcony looking over the sea. Busses to and from the main port take 20 mins and cost €2 per person which is great. We’ve had a lovely stay here and hope to return one day!

Semelia was very accommodating. The parking was right next to the room and the bed was very comfortable.

Beautiful view and room. Owner was great and had wonderful suggestions on where to go. Only drawback was that I was told while leaving I needed to pay another 2Euro per night for taxes. It was well worth it but felt it should have been in the fees already paid.

This hotel and its owner and housekeeper should be protected at all costs! The unobstructed ocean views in every room, ocean-water pool, and access to the ocean for swimming, are the main attractions. The rooms are basic but so spacious and bright. Newly renovated bathrooms are tastefully done. 10/10 would recommend for a quiet getaway. Rena (the owner) is very thoughtful and runs her hotel efficiently. Her housekeeper Elena is hardworking and meticulous. We spend two nights in Room 20 and honestly don’t want to leave! Until next time, Ilioperato you have my heart!

Staying at Argyros place was wonderful. Argyro was extremly welcoming. We loved the small courtyard with the lemon tree and herb garden and frequently dined there. We used the kitchen a lot and were happy to stay in the tiny house that is away from street noise in the hill just outside the touristy area. Argyro gave us tips for what to visit and background history about the island. The interior was very clean and cosy. Would definitely come again to Aegina and stay at Argyros house.

Kelly and her husband are amazing and very happy to help. The place itself has huge beds and Kelly left free water, tea, coffee and snacks. The place is neatly organized and has free toothbrush, shaving blades and toothpaste and even free disposable slippers. Very convenient.

The location is very peaceful. The house was tidy, clean, and well-equipped with many necessities. The host was responsive at all times. It’s not too far from the city center and also offers private parking, which was wonderful. The highlight was definitely the barbecue station and the lovely yard which is perfect for relaxing.

Η τοποθεσία του διαμερίσματος είναι σε θέση που το κάνει τόσο ήσυχο, είναι κατάλληλο για οικογένεια. Πεντακάθαρος κ πολύ όμορφος χώρος εξίσου και το μπαλκόνι. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα! Ευχαριστούμε πολύ και την κυρία Κατερίνα για την ευγένεια της κ την φιλοξενία της!

Ότι και να πούμε για την φιλοξενία της Νάντιας θα είναι λίγο...Η καλύτερη οικοδέσποινα ever! Ο χώρος ήταν πανέμορφος, καλαίσθητος...βγαλμένος από παραμύθι!Μόνο όταν το ζήσεις θα καταλάβεις τι εννοώ.. Το μέρος όπου βρίσκεται το κατάλυμα είναι στη καλύτερη τοποθεσία της περιοχής,λίγες φορές θα συναντήσεις στη ζωή σου τέτοια θέα να απλώνεται στα πόδια σου. Το σπίτι πεντακάθαρο με όλες τις ανέσεις του,ότι χρειαζόσουν το είχες από κουζινικά,ίντερνετ, TV,netflix,YouTube,aircondition. Ο εξωτερικός χώρος άλλη μαγεία.. Ηρεμία,γαλήνη ,μια υπέροχη πισινα με θαλασσινό νερό,ένας υπέροχος κήπος και βέβαια η απόλυτη θέα που απλώνεται μέχρι τη θάλασσα. Ένα είναι σίγουρο ότι θα ξανάρθουμε! Νάντια σε ευχαριστούμε για όλα! Να δώσεις από εμάς μια μεγάλη αγκαλιά στον Leon!❤️ Ανυπομονούμε για το επόμενο ταξίδι μας εκεί!

Marina was an excellent host. She coordinated our arrival at the port, picked us up from there, showed us the house, and explained everything we needed to know. She provided local recommendations and even took us on a tour around the island. In summary, a perfect host, a perfect house, and an exceptional experience. Thank you, thank you!

Vasileios y María son unos anfitriones excelentes, no nos ha faltado de nada y siempre estaban atentos a lo que pudiéramos necesitar. Nos han invitado a fruta local (granadas de su propio patio, por cierto) y nos han facilitado toda la información necesaria en todo momento. Muchas gracias, chicos! Muy recomendable!

The time at Patagionis apartment was truly amazing. You have a beautiful view over the hills and the Souvala. It easy to get around by foot and everything you need is close by. But the best at all was the hospitality! George (Patagionis son and the host) was so attentive and kind. this truly was the point that made our holiday unforgettable!

Vassilis and Hary are just amazing hosts! They are super friendly, happy and helpful! Their house and garden are just amazing! Beautiful big garden with lots of hammocks, goose, chickens, beautiful vegetation and of course their amazingly cute and friendly dog Oscar! The property is right on the beach! You go out of the garden gate and you are on a beautiful private sand beach! You can watch the sun set directly into the ocean from the beach. It feels like paradise! We will definately come back!
