Host was kind and responsive. The house was set up to be very guest friendly, extra coffee pods, streaming services, heat/cooling/and humidifier made it comfortable. The pool and sauna are very close, could walk there on a nice day. Would book again

This place is an absolute gem. Perfect getaway with beautiful scenery. The place is very beautiful and peaceful. Definitely worth it and would be back in a heart beat. 10/10 will always recommend.

The house was perfectly described in the listing. We truly enjoyed the lake views, using the fire pit outside and the sun room. There was enough space for our family (6 adults and 3 kids under 6). The sleds were a great surprise to have and there was a small hit on the side of the house. Jennifer was extremely responsive. There were books provided to explain how to work everything within the home and everything was noted and explained so easily. Check out was very easy as well. We can’t wait until summer time to stay again!

This stay was absolutely perfect! The cabin was warm, welcoming, and exactly what we needed for a peaceful getaway. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, from the soft blankets to the fully stocked kitchen. We especially loved the fireplace and the quiet mornings on the porch with coffee and birdsong. The location was ideal, close to hiking trails and small local shops, yet secluded enough to feel like a true retreat. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, offering great local tips and ensuring everything was just right. We left feeling refreshed and already dreaming about our next visit. If you’re looking for a cozy, relaxing escape with all the little touches that make a place feel like home, this is it. Highly, highly recommend!

Our stay at Justin’s Sterling Acres cabin was everything we expected and more! We were looking for a place that was peaceful to get away for a week after a very busy holiday season. Justin was extremely communicative and helpful the entire stay. The views from every window were gorgeous, and the interior was very homey. Look forward to booking again with Justin in the future!

Realmente la casa estaba hermosa y la pasamos súper bien. El viaje fue algo exigente porque tuvimos que manejar casi 3 horas para llegar, lo cual influyó bastante en la experiencia. Sería ideal que se permitiera seleccionar la hora de llegada y salida, ya que sentimos que fueron muy insistentes con la salida, por lo que terminamos yéndonos a las 8 de la mañana. El precio me pareció un poco alto considerando que llegamos a las 4 p.m. y el lunes antes de las 11 a.m. ya debíamos irnos, sin siquiera tiempo para desayunar. Además, tuvimos que comprar un mapo porque la casa no tenía uno disponible. Fuera de eso, todo lo demás fue un 10.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Lukasz at the Greentown Poconos Chalet Cabin and I must say, it was an excellent experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The cabin was pristine and cozy, providing the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. Check-in was a breeze and the host was extremely responsive and kind. It was evident that they had put a lot of effort into ensuring everything was in order for our stay. The cabin was well-stocked with all the essentials, and the kitchen had a great selection of dishes, pots, and pans. The large refrigerator was a definite plus. The cabin had more than enough space for our group of six, allowing us to spend quality time together or retreat to our own areas for some privacy. It was truly a great place for families with kids. Our time at the Greentown Chalet Cabin was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. Thank you to Lukasz!

Great stay, nice cabins nestled in the woods by the lake. Pet friendly, well taken care of grounds. Flat and very walkable docking. Dock slip was really nice, accessible and convenient. Great modern cabin. Will be back again!

Nick’s place was perfect for a nice peaceful weekend getaway. His house was clean and matched the pictures. There are many beds which accommodated my large group very nicely. The house is a short drive down the hill to the lake and a short drive to the indoor pool. Nick was a great host and was very responsive: We had a great stay and would definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful stay! Joseph and Dawn are great hosts; they are very responsive and friendly. The cabin was cozy indeed, but had everything we could need. Our whole family, including our dog, spent most of our time by Dawn’s Landing and adored it :)

We had a very peaceful & cozy weekend at this place! The kitchen is well-stocked and had everything we needed to cook for 2 nights, there was even some firewood that we could use to get a small fire started. The surrounding area is very quiet and super calming, local supermarkets and farmers markets are approx. a 10-20 min drive away. Overall, I would really recommend staying at Kara's if you are looking for a quiet, off-the-grid place located at a beautiful lake. Only the drive up to the house was a bit sketchy, as the roads were not salted and quite icy – you definitely need a AWD vehicle and drive carefully!

We enjoyed our stay! Very peaceful and quiet! The woodstove kept the cabin toasty! The Elk Mountain Ski resort is just a few miles down the road! There was plenty of towels, necessities to last us thru our stay! Was able to bring our doggie with us which was a plus as we stayed a little over a week. Thanks!

Claudia's home was lovely, and just as described. It was just the nature filled and quiet escape that we needed to end our kids spring break. We hope to be back again to enjoy the house and the surroundings.

We enjoyed our stay at Adam and Karen’s tiny house, the house was cozy and the surroundings were beautiful. We were lucky to have great weather and made use of the wood stove. Their recommendations for where we should go locally were awesome. We would love to one day have a space like it and will be back next year for the spring. It was definitely worth it!!!!! Ryan has a really beautiful cabin right on a lake. It was even nicer than the pictures and was absolutely spotless. Although it is in a remote location, Ryan gave very clear instructions and our stay was flawless. I appreciated that Ryan reached out before approving the rental to inform us of snow on the entrance road and to make sure that we had 4 wheel drive vehicles. He was extremely responsive and reached out numerous times during our stay to make sure everything was o.k. We used the cabin for a ski weekend and it was about a 30 minute scenic drive to Elk Mountain. One caveat is there are not many restaurants nearby so you may want to bring food.

A group of friends was looking for a place near a distance race at the Lackawaxen River. This place was perfect. Spacious, and beautiful scenery. Late check out was a selling point. Kenneth was extremely responsive every step of the way. Something was left behind, and he went out of his way to help remedy the situation. If we ever decide to do a vacation near the lake in the future, we will definitely be back.

This place was perfect to get some peaceful rest from the noise in NJ. We loved how each bedroom was on a Different floor . Everything we needed to cook meals were in the house. The Pac-Man and board games were great. They even had a basketball and tennis rackets. The smart TVs were easy to use. They had a Welcome basket with s’mores, hot cocoas and wine. The hosts were super responsive. The binder had everything you needed to know about the home and surrounding areas. And we really enjoyed the flexible check in and check out. We would definitely recommend to anyone.

We had a great stay. Needing a place last minute was able to book same day and get into the house a short while after booking. The house was exactly what we needed. Everything was clean and well laid out. Full Kitchen so we were able to make meals there. The 2 main bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and good size. Living room was set up very nice. Special note. This property has a ramp which makes it very accessible. We had someone in our group that is handicapped so this was great.

My family and I had a wonderful long weekend at John’s Cozy cabin despite the weather challenges and a wide spread blackout. We enjoyed staying around the fireplace listening to the wind howl. John was worried about us and kept in contact with us through the night. We are definitely looking forward to coming back next year. We have a lot of fun memories. My kids went snow tubing at Camelback which was about a 30/40 minute drive and walking around the cabin, spotting plenty of deer. There a ShopRite about 12 minutes away if you need supplies and a few places to eat near by. I would highly recommend this place for a nice vacation. Thank you John!

The house was great. Small and cozy. Very clean and safe. Loved the amenities like puzzles and movies. Very basic kitchen supplies but enough for what we wanted. Stove and fridge are both new and nice. Super happy with our stay.
