Comfort in the Trees, Sleeps 8, near PDX

Our home is light, cheerful, and nearly 2000 sq. ft. The large deck is perfect for barbecues and is nested in trees. The gas fireplace and TV in the family room make it cozy. The full kitchen boasts an island bar and a small kitchen table. Upstairs, the master bedroom includes a queen bed and spacious bathroom. The remaining two bedrooms each contain an antique double bed with a full bathroom in between. A comfortable queen hideabed is downstairs, as well as a half-bathroom.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space with quick access to I-84. We are just 12 minutes to Gresham but have the feeling of being secluded. In the winter come for the wind and mother nature! The unit has a private entrance in the back lower level of our home. It includes a separate BR, living area w/ gas fireplace, dining table w full kitchen. We are out in the country and do have a miniature donkey, a sheep and chickens. No Pets allowed.

Three water falls, a river and a lodge.

Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.

The newly renovated Garden Chalet offers a serene one-bedroom, one-bathroom ground floor unit. It includes a private entrance, living room, and full kitchen. Guests share access to a spacious backyard with seating areas, a firepit, and a landscaped waterfall (owner lives upstairs). There is a dedicated parking area that leads to the Garden Chalet's private entrance .
