This was the perfect house for a sister's getaway back home. It had everything we needed and we really enjoyed the back deck for drinking our morning coffee. It was very convenient to the Volunteer Parkway and Highway 11. We loved our time with family and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Great stay. Beds were super comfortable, the location was great and the living room and kitchen table were a great place to hang out. We enjoyed having meals on the back deck, under the massive umbrella. One note about the kitchen… we did have to run out and buy a pan that could be cooked in because the provided pans were deeply scratched teflon and very worn. We had to run out a second time to buy disposable aluminum pans to make a casserole, as there wasn’t anything at all that could go in the oven. Those are minor but want to warn others to bring a couple of supplies with them if they will be cooking. Also, the road noise is LOUD. It didn’t really bother us, as we are a used to it but just be prepared, if you don’t like noise. All in all, we loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Wonderful stay at this home! The views were definitely as advertised and great spot for stargazing as well. Loved the interior space, toys and games for the kids, and the porch was such a highlight for winding down evenings. Host was super responsive and helpful. Thank you!

I was in the area for work and wanted to stay some place other than a motel. I saw this place and fell in love! It reminded me of home in Ky. I rented it for myself and my employees that traveled with me. We all loved it! Super clean! Very peaceful! The kitchen was fabulous! We will Definitely rent this again when we are in town for work!

Y’all. This place is FABULOUS, especially if you have a family of big personalities who love to laugh and also need lots of recharge time. The house is gorgeous and stocked so thoughtfully— we cooked a huge Sunday dinner and had cookware left over. The beds are super comfy, the fire pit and pool table and PacMan are great diversions, the couch and tv are huge, cute and cool Damascus is 3-5 minutes away. It was a charmer and took great care of us.

We were very pleased with the house. We will definitely rent from her again in the future.

El sitio estuvo excelente para ir a descansar y desconectarse de la ciudad, relajarte en familia, la casa fue muy cómoda. Si tienes niños pequeños, disfrutaran mucho en el terreno que es bastante grande, puedes hacer parrilla y tienes varias atracciones cerca y adicional estas a 48 minutos de Boone. Melina tuvo una excelente asistencia en tiempo récord, una cuando no podíamos abrir la puerta, la llamamos y nos atendió al momento para abrir desde su locación y la otra fue con un breaker que se tripeo en panel, la respuesta fue inmediata. Realmente volveré a rentar el próximo año, Gracias Melina.

We had an amazing experience at Jim's place. Very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed chatting with Jim and his wife and they provided a lot of great information and were very flexible with our schedule. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Beautiful view !! Comfortable bed. Hot tub a big plus ! Jim was very helpful and had great recommendations for local hikes. I could literally see the snow moving in across the mountain. It was the perfect spot !

David and Sharlene’s place was Fantastic. Incredibly clean, private, and so well thought out. It was everything you could ask for, we are planning to go back to the area next year and will definitely stay in the same place. Great location on Main Street in Abingdon, you can walk to a number of cafes and restaurants as well as local shops! Quiet residential location! We would recommend this place to everyone! 5 stars all around. Thank you, Mike & Susan

We had unexpected need to travel to Bristol, and we were worried about finding a good place for a reasonable price. Thankfully, we found Chad’s place and he was very accommodating. The place was better than the pictures, and in a central area to town. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. If we are ever in this area, we will definitely book again.
