Enjoy all seasons on Pleasant River Lake. There are nearby ATV trails, snowmobile trails, hiking, fishing, or just enjoying the peace and quiet the area offers. The property is located about 45-50 minutes from the Bangor area, Ellsworth area, Calais and the Canadian border. Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park is about an hour and a half drive, Schoodic Peninsula is about 45-50 min and the Milbridge and Cherryfield areas are about 25-30 minutes from the house. House is fully stocked.

This playful cabin offers a unique spot to unwind and explore the Schoodic peninsula and Downeast Maine. Kayaks are provided to explore island studded 462 acre Jones pond, a 10 minute walk down a trail. A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. Nearby Winter Harbor has shops and restaurants and even a ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

Located on Pocomoonshine Lake in Alexander, Maine, it's minutes from the Canadian border, an amazing golf course and the Atlantic Ocean. The lake is known for its kayaking, bass and white perch fishing and record number of loons that will sing you to sleep at night! Three floors allow for 10 guests enjoy vacationing together, yet have privacy at the same time. The house is fully equipped. Just bring your bathing suit!

Little Green Cottage

The Little Green Cottage is a peaceful location, on the edge of a calm river, where you can frequently see turtles and frogs. Truly a place to see the night sky and experience nature. Acadia is a little over 2 hours away. Quoddy Head State Park and Campobello Island (Canada - bring your passport), is within 30 minutes. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. We just added an office shed for those who have to work on vacation. Additional fee to rent so please request in the booking.
