Our basecamp apartment is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast looking for an escape to the countryside. We are 1/2mile from the C&O Towpath and Potomac river and less than 2 miles from Harpers Ferry and the Appalachian Trail. Our location makes this perfect for couples, families or groups looking to hike, bike, or raft. Make use of our deck, grill, fire pit, and bike tools. We recently got internet. But no TV, and weak cell signal. The kitchenette has a hotplate, toaster oven, and coffee maker.

Poplar Place draws its name from the poplar tree siding custom milled for the home. Situated on a scenic Civil War driving tour, the home is the result of a major renovation and addition to an 1840 farm house. The staircase is original as is the kitchen/dining area oak flooring. Six can sleep comfortably with two bedrooms (each with a queen bed) and a convertible sofa. Poplar Place has central heat and air, an all glass living room, stocked kitchen, large master bath and main level half bath.
