Enjoy staying in a piece of history within this old one room schoolhouse converted to a two bedroom home. Sit out on the swing or by the firepit as you enjoy peaceful sounds of the country and the creek adjacent to the property. Located right on the Bourbon Trail with only a 5 min drive to Maker’s Mark, 17 min to Limestone, and 20 min to Log Still Distillery. Venture in to the city of Springfield to learn about Abe Lincoln and his parents, married in the courthouse, still being used to this day!

Guests love the interior craftsmanship and Outdoor kitchen. Main level has a Queen bed. Bonus loft area has a twin bed. This suite is peaceful /private - the most secluded one that we have to offer on the property. The outdoor grill, sink and warming drawer are within reach for ease of cooking. The suite is designed for your comfort with many custom space saving ideas. We desire check in to be very simple. There is a manual lock box with the key. No electronics to depend on. No apps to rely on.

Located close enough to town but in the country, in a peaceful setting. Large front deck to sit and relax or grill your dinner and eat on the covered porch. Located right in the middle of the Bourbon Trail! Truck drivers welcome. Trailer parking within 5 miles. Room for tractor parking onsite. We have outside cats & a dog.

McCord Carriage House Located on Bourbon Trail!

The McCord Carriage House is located in the heart of Springfield, KY. It is a beautifully restored carriage styled house with history dating back to 1902. Originally built by William Caldwell McChord to compliment his home and law office. For decades it has been an overnight rest stop and retreat for travelers and guests. With respect to its past the Carriage House has been carefully restored by its present owners.
