An ideal place to relax or to be adventurous. We are located perfectly to give you great access to the beautiful, unspoilt fells, lakes, rivers, tarns and coastline the area has to offer. Cosy two bedroom holiday let set on a working Herdwick sheep farm situated in the picturesque Wasdale valley within the Lake District National Park. The cottage is set on the shores of Wastwater and so offers stunning views of the lake and the surrounding hills. It is the perfect starting point for numerous Wainwright walks. Scafell Pike, Yewbarrow and Illgill Head can all be started from the doorstep. Very easy access to the lake for paddleboarding, kayaking and wild swimming.

High Bridge End cottage is an attractive stone built Lakeland property, set in the heart of the Duddon Valley. Situated directly on the banks of the picturesque River Duddon, surrounded by the National Park Southern Fells. The cottage has been renovated with views in mind, the lounge being on the first floor with vaulted ceiling, picture windows and cosy log burner. Stylish kitchen, traditional shower room, spacious utility area and private parking for two cars.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.

The tranquil setting of The Spinney, above the River Cocker, with spectacular views over to Whinlatter, is an ideal location to explore the north western Lakes. Set in two acres of mature trees, gardens and river frontage, with lots of wildlife.

We are a stones throw from the stunning Wasdale Valley with Wastwater being named Britains best view and also home to Englands highest mountain- Scafell Pike. Perfect for couples or a family with 2 children under 13. Maximum 2 adults. As we are a working farm there will be animals and working machinery around the farm.
