A 15-minute level stroll along the seafront promenade leads to Deal town. Buses into Deal, Sandwich, Canterbury, Dover and beyond stop a few metres from the cottage. Deal's award winning High Street and train station are also only a 15 minute stroll away. With pubs, cafés, and local shops selling basic provisions on the doorstep. Walmer Green is a few paces away from the apartment and throughout the summer provides the backdrop for weekly events such as the annual antiques brocante, funfair, vintage car and motorbike displays, food market.

It's a wonderful place to get away from the day to day stresses with the beach and the sea gulls making it feel like a proper holiday every time. It has loads of character and is as comfortable, in the summer or the winter with either the mature garden or the snug to relax in. The road is made up of pastel colour houses with a real sense of the neighbourly.

Only a short walk to Deal & Walmer Castles, and to the affluent Deal high street with amazing shops and restaurants. The house offers a comfortable lounge for relaxing. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for self-catering. The master bedroom is roomy, with a king-size bed and reading corner. Second bedroom offers two single beds. Baby cot and children's toys are available.

Enjoy a peaceful and comfortable stay. This is a self-contained, private annexe to our family home with its own separate entrance and parking space. You have plenty of room for two people with double bedroom, en-suite shower room, and kitchen/lounge with patio. Located close to the main Deal to Dover road, it is still quiet and green, but just 12 minutes' drive to Dover port, the A2 and A20. A short walk takes you to the beach, the cliffs, Walmer Castle, local shops or the train station.

Bell Cottage is situated in the rural village of Ringwould in Kent which is one of the oldest villages in the country. Offering stunning walks and views over the countryside towards the coast. Located between our beautiful hometown of Deal, which was voted one of the UK's best seaside towns and Dover, home to the famous White Cliffs and Dover Castle. Both being a short drive away. Our cottage is set back approx 12 metres of the busy main A258. We are approx 2 miles from main Deal town.

You could even bus to Dover & hop a Ferry to France.

My cottage was built in the 1800's and is small but perfectly formed. Newly refurbished it's in a convenient location close to the beach, shops, bars/restaurants, train station and conservation area. It's location makes it the perfect gateway to either London or Europe. Please note to keep my prices low, the price quoted is for couples sharing the main bedroom. If the spare bedroom is required to be made up, it is an extra £20 per night (with 10% discount if longer than one week).

Brewers, so called as it was originally built in the 19th century for brewery workers at the former Thompson Brewery, is a pretty cottage with fabulous walled garden situated at the end of a peaceful lane in the heart of the Upper Walmer conservation area. The excellent facilities of Upper Walmer are just a 2 minute walk away and Walmer/Deal beach a 20 minute walk making it the perfect base for a coastal getaway.
